Stephen Wiltshire spoke his first words, ‘pencil’ and ‘paper’ at five years old. At the age of eight, the late British Prime Minister Edward Heath commissioned Wiltshire to draw the Salisbury Cathedral. At 11 years old Wiltshire drew a perfect, intensely detailed picture of the London cityscape after a single helicopter ride. Perhaps it is not surprising that Wiltshire was diagnosed with autism, when he was three years old.

Apple could finally offer some real competition to cable and satellite companies.
The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday evening that the consumer tech giant is planning to launch a web-based TV service this fall, with a small package of roughly 25 channels.
A TV service from Apple, which has been rumored for years, could shake up the TV industry, forcing other pay TV providers to drop prices, improve customer service and offer smaller packages to compete.

The premiere of “Cosmos,” Neil deGrasse Tyson’s new TV series, has a lot of science geeks massively pumped. And that includes the folks at NASA, who welcomed the 13-part series by releasing a stunning new gallery of space photos on Flickr.
From a psychedelic vortex on Saturn to monster solar flares to the beautiful remnants of dying stars, prepare to get seriously psyched about space.

How do you make Dish Network’s Hopper HD-DVR system even better? That’s easy — you supersize it.
Introduced earlier this year at CES, Super Joey has officially arrived, and for TV fans it more than lives up to its “super” moniker. Utilizing the same Hopper and Sling technology as previous versions, it now increases the recording power.
The Joey units, basically room extenders to the Dish set-top box, allow viewers to watch live or recorded TV around the house. The catch was Dish could only — yes only — allow viewers to record or view six programs at the same time.

A few years ago, we learned that too much TV might kill you sooner. Now, a new Harvard study is telling us excessive TV-watching could slash men’s sperm count, too.
The Harvard School of Public Health’s sperm study, published this week in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, determined that guys glued to the tube more than 20 hours per week had 44 percent less sperm than those who watched no TV.

Dutch television hosts Dennis Storm and Valerio Zeno have done some pretty wild things for their show “Guinea Pigs.” (In 2011, they ate each other’s flesh in front of a live audience.) But the duo’s latest escapade had them yelling and clutching their abdomens in agony when they opted to experience simulated labor contractions.
In a video clip from the show, Storm and Zeno reveal why they took on this particular challenge, explaining that giving birth is the worst pain there is. However, since men can’t feel labor pains, the two men used electro-stimulations to simulate contractions so they could experience the distress for themselves.

So, who needs a roller coaster?
You wouldn’t want a big lunch……
and, no question, there is a lot of wet pants after this ride…..
18 people in the back row and 16 people in the front. 34 people probably scared like crazy. I’ve never seen as amusement park ride so unusual. Thinking of my own experience from rides combinations that could do some of this stuff, I can imagine one’s stomach churning.
