A few years ago, we learned that too much TV might kill you sooner. Now, a new Harvard study is telling us excessive TV-watching could slash men’s sperm count, too.
The Harvard School of Public Health’s sperm study, published this week in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, determined that guys glued to the tube more than 20 hours per week had 44 percent less sperm than those who watched no TV.
.
A new study on sperm counts suggests that excessive
TV-watching could slash men’s sperm count.

The death toll from the notorious killing spree unleashed by Charles Manson across Southern California is higher than previously thought, according to a lawyer who represented one of Manson’s followers.
Fox’s Los Angeles station obtained a recording of Bill Boyd, a lawyer for a “Manson family” convicted killer, alleging that Manson told his client about other slayings.
“He told me about a bunch of other people Manson had killed,” Boyd said in an interview recorded about his client Charles “Tex” Watson. “He was extremely candid.”

The Alabama bunker in which a young boy was held hostage for a week also had homemade bombs.
CBS News tweeted that Jimmy Lee Dykes, the man who took the 5-year-old hostage, had stored homemade bombs in his underground bunker.
Dykes was killed when authorities invaded the bunker Monday in southeastern Alabama. The 5-year-old was successfully freed.
The boy’s grandmother told the Associated Press she fears the crisis will stay with the child for the rest of his life.

Nervous about of the much-hyped impending blizzard? Well, If you live in New York this may put you slightly at ease: The city uses some pretty high-tech equipment to remove snow.
In addition to more traditional plows and sweepers, the city’s Metropolitan Transit Authority has essentially mounted jet engines on wheels to decimate snow with huge blasts of air.
Although these machines are high-tech and impressive, there’s one drawback: they’re loud. “If you live near the tracks you definitely hear these going by,” MTA spokesperson Aaron Donovan told The Huffington Post on Friday.

At 7 years old, Zora Ball has become the youngest person to create a mobile video game.
The app was unveiled at the FATE Bootstrap Expo, held at the University of Pennsylvania last month.
Ball developed the game using programming language Bootstrap, which is usually taught to students between the ages of 12 and 16, to help them learn concepts of algebra via video game development.
According to Mashable, Ball also successfully reconfigured the app when asked to do so at the Expo, silencing anyone who may have thought that her older brother — a STEM scholar of the year — helped her program the game.

Thanks to In-N-Out’s large fan base at its nearly 280 restaurants in five states, the chain is now worth roughly $1.1 billion, according to estimates — 19,298 times more than the median U.S. household in 2010.
