NASHVILLE, Tenn. (RNS) Eric and Ruth Brown believe nothing about daughter Pearl Joy’s life is a mistake.
They say God gave Pearl her bright red hair and wide blue eyes, as well as the genetic disorder that created a cleft in her upper lip and caused her brain’s development to stall in the first weeks in the womb.

Holy sheep! You may not notice it on first glance, but if you take a closer look, you can see that this is no ordinary lamb. According to the U.K. Daily Mail, this woolly animal has defied gravity with its upside-down head.
Allan McNamara was strolling through the small town of Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, when he and his friend spotted the sheep. “I couldn’t believe it. I’m friends with a girl who has a horse on the farm and she was like, “Aww, Allan, come and have a look at this sheep.'”

The rusty old canister had been buried for 40 years, but there was something about it that caught the eye of Larry Wright, a 69-year-old resident of Oakland, Calif.
Hiking near Milestone Mountain in Sequoia National Park with his son Aaron and grandson, Skyler, Wright came across what appeared to be a film canister buried in the soil on Sept. 8, reports the Los Angeles Times.
