Alabama police are trying to track down a mob that beat a man into critical condition — leaving their battered victim with the words, “Now that’s justice for Trayvon.”
Cops told WKRG that Matthew Owens got in an argument with some kids playing basketball at a court in the city of Mobile on Saturday night. The kids left and a group of some 20 adults arrived at Owens’ front doorstep, armed with chairs, brass knuckles, pipes and paint cans.

Matthew Owens was allegedly beaten by a vicious
mob, after which someone uttered the words,
“Now that’s justice for Trayvon.”

DENVER — The grandfather of a 6-year-old girl killed during the Aurora theater shootings wants a thief to return pictures of the child that were stolen from his home in a burglary this week.
“They’re the last photos I have of her,” said Robert Sullivan, grandfather of Veronica Moser-Sullivan, the youngest person slain in the July 20 attack that left 12 dead and dozens wounded.

After years of rumors, the search for Jimmy Hoffa, the Teamsters boss who disappeared in 1975, is going underground.
Police in Roseville, Mich., got a tip that prompted them to do a radar scan of the ground under a driveway at a home in the suburb of Detroit, according to the Detroit Free Press. After finding an “anomaly,” they will be bringing forensic anthropologists to the scene this Friday to search for remains.
