A Donald Trump rally that attracted thousands to the University of Illinois at Chicago was abruptly canceled Friday night amid his campaign’s security fears, sparking shouting and scuffling between the candidate’s fans and anti-Trump protesters.
Chicago police said two officers were hurt, including one who was struck on the head with a bottle. At least two other people were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, according to news reports. Five people were arrested.
The rally was called off about a half-hour after the scheduled 6 p.m. start time, after thousands of Trump fans and anti-Trump protesters packed into the free event, which required online registration. Thousands more gathered outside, surrounded by a police perimeter, and people became more vocal as the starting time approached.

More than just something that we long for and want, a great relationship is something that we need in order to be the healthiest, happiest, and most productive version of ourselves. Good, fulfilling, long-lasting relationships don’t come easily or automatically. They often and almost always take time, commitment, energy, and patience. No matter is you are longing for a close friendship, relationship, or even a better understanding of those that you care for, there are ways in which you can make those relationships better and even repair or save a struggling relationship.
We live in a loud and distracting world, where silence is increasingly difficult to come by — and that may be negatively affecting our health.
In fact, a 2011 World Health Organization report called noise pollution a “modern plague,” concluding that “there is overwhelming evidence that exposure to environmental noise has adverse effects on the health of the population.”
We’re constantly filling our ears with music, TV and radio news, podcasts and, of course, the multitude of sounds that we create nonstop in our own heads. Think about it: How many moments each day do you spend in total silence? The answer is probably very few.

Making time for silence can make you feel less stressed, more focused and more creative, according to science.
Everyone’s #BestSchoolDay is different. Before Blake Mycoskie became the founder and Chief Shoegiver of TOMS, his #BestSchoolDay was reciting the Emancipation Proclamation dressed as Abraham Lincoln. Actress and comedian Yvette Nicole Brown remembers the time her third-grade teacher returned from Africa and taught the class Swahili. Twitter co-founder Biz Stone won the “Bicycle Safety Essay Contest” on his #BestSchoolDay. For Samuel L. Jackson and Russell Simmons, every day of high school was a #BestSchoolDay —for Jackson, because he walked to school with the same group of friends, and for Simmons, because he was bussed to a different community that gave him greater opportunity.
Too many students, however, don’t have the classroom resources they need to realize their passions and unlock their potential. Students can’t dream big when classrooms lack books, microscopes, and robotics kits —or even paper, pencils, and paste.
That’s why more than 50 actors, athletes, entrepreneurs and philanthropists are stepping up to provide a boost to those students and their teachers. They’ve created a philanthropic flash mob to make classroom dreams come true across America.
Ever dreamed of moving about the world invisible to onlookers? Scientists at Iowa State University have come up with a technology that could bring about the invisibility cloak of the future.
In a new paper, scientists illustrate how a stretchy fabric can hide its wearer from radar detection. The technology is called “meta-skin” and uses a metal alloy called galinstan that’s liquid at room temperature. The galinstan is put into electric resonators which act as a liquid wire within a silicone fabric. To shield specific radar frequencies, scientists had to pull and stretch the cloth until it’s properly “tuned.” When wrapped around a surface, the material can conceal the object’s electromagnetic waves from radar detectors. An Iowa State University statement indicated that its researchers demonstrated 75 percent of radar waves running at a 8 to 10 gigahertz frequency were blocked during tests.
While there were initial rumors that she would be retiring from tennis with a press conference Monday afternoon, No. 7 singles-ranked Maria Sharapova announced she had failed a drug test at the Australian Open. The tennis star said in the press conference that she tested positive for meldonium — an anti-ischemic drug.
According to Yahoo Sports, Sharapova was informed that she had failed the test by the International Tennis Federation a few days prior. “I don’t want to end my career this way,” Sharapova told reporters in the press conference, according to Yahoo Sports. “I really hope I will be given another chance to play this game.”
The drug was recently added to the banned substances list by the World Anti-Doping Agency effective in January. Sharapova, 28, has been the highest paid female athlete for 11 consecutive years.
If you’re a night owl who loves stargazing, 2016 is going to be a busy year for you. This year is packed full of remarkable sights — including three supermoons, two eclipses, and dozens of meteor showers. Some of them you’ll need a telescope or binoculars to see, but many are visible with your naked eye alone.

Audiences at screenings around the world, and some even in the United States, have been cheering and applauding a macabre scene in a new film by Sacha Baron Cohen in which “Donald Trump” accidentally contracts HIV.
“The Brothers Grimsby” opens March 11 in the U.S., though chances are you’re learning that for the first time here, given a decision by Sony Pictures to limit its marketing of the satiric comedy. The studio is concerned about the reaction from the real Donald Trump, according to industry sources familiar with the situation.
At the film’s world premiere in London last week, the Daily Telegraph reported that the Trump moment was met with “loud cheering.” The Metro newspaper called it a “massive cheer.” A viewer at a different screening tweeted, “Went to watch Grimsby and the whole cinema clapped when Donald Trump got given AIDS in it.”

In the world, human beings are facing various problems. People who are full of greed, anger, and ignorance are seen to be fighting with each other in words and deeds. As the fighting continues, various problems such as civil wars, wars of aggression, and wars of aggression are occurring. As world peace is being destroyed, humans are facing unbearable problems. Innocent children and women are not getting the rights they deserve and deserve. I can't think of one thing every time. What is it? The United Nations. If we look at the responsibilities and duties of the United Nations, I think it is not suitable for solving the problems that are happening in the world today. In fact, the United Nations and the World Security Council, such an organization must rule the world, must be able to give orders, and must have various ways to obey orders. There must be no organization that can influence more than that organization. There should be experts from each country. They can even dominate the superpowers like the US, China, and Britain. Only then will global peace be achieved quickly. Now, if a country with power develops more militarily, economically, or socially than its own country, then powerful countries will jealously seek out enemies and wage war. Or they will attack with fighter jets. In this, innocent people are losing their lives. No one understands the value of a life. You should think about how to achieve global peace by controlling these. If the US continues to be the permanent president of the UN, world peace will never be achieved. If you think carefully, no one sees that they are working for the common good, but for their own benefit, for the benefit of their own country. The permanent president of the UN and the Security Council has rejected this, As a young Rohingya, I have come to realize that only by electing the president and secretary from among the countries in the world through a secret ballot system and governing the world fairly can we achieve global peace. The United Nations and the Security Council are organizations in which any country must govern, give orders, and make them obey their orders. For example, only when a defendant is tried in court can we hold the leaders of the countries in check and control them, can we achieve global peace smoothly. Otherwise, it will not be easy for powerful countries to use various excuses to end this war every year, every year, for the benefit of themselves and their countries. No country's leaders pay any attention to the words of the United Nations and the Security Council. If we look at it in practice, look at the Rohingya issue. Myanmar is a small country. Even that country has been under siege for 8 years. What action can be taken? Why is the UN and the Security Council Powerless? Without such Power, how can the organization bring about global peace? Everyone should think about it. Whether there is a veto or a strong one, all countries in the world can only achieve global peace if they are subject to the UN and the Security Council. Seek peace in the quiet embrace of nature. Peace is an indispensable need of the human race. It is not as if one person can kill another person, and it is as if one country can attack another country, but instead of trying to build peace, we must try to destroy the peace now, and the world is getting hotter and is on the verge of collapse. I especially appeal to all the world experts to urgently try to bring about peace in all parts of the world. Mr, Noor Muhamed Arkhan Rohingya Youth Myanmar
