Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast is an oblast in western Ukraine. Its administrative center is the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. As is the case with most other oblasts of Ukraine this region has the same name as its administrative center – which was renamed by the Soviet Ukrainian authorities after the Ukrainian writer Ivan Franko on November 9, 1962. Population: 1,382,352 (2016 est.)

But because your community is reopening, can you safely venture out freely? The answer depends on where you live and what precautions you take.
For example, guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on reopening emphasizes the importance of cleaning facilities that haven’t been open for a while.
And the number of cases in your area might mean it’s safer for you to go out than for people living in hot spots, Dr. Mary Schmidt, an infectious disease physician, and professor of clinical medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University’s campus in Annandale, Virginia, told TODAY.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, a leading member of the coronavirus task force, cautioned in congressional testimony that a rushed lifting of coronavirus lockdowns could lead the virus to return with redoubled force.
“There is no doubt, even under the best of circumstances, that when you pull back on mitigation, you will see some cases,” Fauci said in a congressional hearing on Tuesday meant to address when schools and businesses could begin to emerge from closures that have affected some 90 percent of all Americans.
He added that, most likely, the official count of 81,000 fatalities from the coronavirus was missing some deaths from the disease. “Most of us feel that the number of deaths is likely higher than that number,” Fauci said, a statement that contradicts a view proffered by some commentators and hosts on Fox News, who claim the government is exaggerating the scope of the pandemic.

The Tatra range between Slovakia and Poland is a national park and has several peaks above 2,400 meters. More than half of the Carpathian range lies in Romania, where spruce forests are home to brown bears, wolves, and lynxes.

Our bedtime routine that night started off like so many others, harried but mostly sweet. After making our way through brushing teeth and getting into pajamas, my daughter and I lay down on her bedroom floor to sing songs, the final step before crawling into bed.
When I tried to curl up next to my 4-year-old, though, I sensed her hesitation. She wiggled her little body away from mine each time I inched closer. “Do you not want mommy close to you, sweetie?” I asked, assuming she was initiating a game to extend our nighttime ritual. Her light-brown eyes locked in on me as she brushed her honey-colored locks aside with her hand.
In a casual on-the-edge-of-sleep voice she cooed, “Your skin is dark. I don’t want you to touch me.”
My brown Indigenous Latina body stiffened; I labored to breathe, outraged, and confused. She rendered me speechless.

Karst is a landscape formed by the dissolution of soluble bedrocks (mainly carbonate rocks such as limestone, dolomite, and gypsum), featuring sinkholes, caves, and underground streams. Karst topography is relatively fragile and unstable in geographic terms, yet it creates fabulous and unique landscapes around the world. South of China is a typical region of karst topography, where Guilin’s hills and caves, Yunnan’s Stone Forest, and Guizhou’s Xiaoqikong are the best examples.
It is estimated that some hundred million years ago, the area where Guilin is located was a gulf. In the long years, the seabed was covered with thick calcareous sediments, which were slowly dissolving and shaped by the salty seawater at the same time. Thus the original appearance of Guilin’s hills and caves had been formed. Later came the movements of the earth crust, and the seabed rose, cracked, and gradually formed the landscape of Guilin. After millions of years, with erosions of the wind, rain, and rivers, the hills and caves developed into what we can see today, fantastic and unbelievable.

He shared that sentiment with nearly 80 million followers and attached it to a tweet from one of his golf clubs, Trump National, in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. “Game on! We are thrilled to announce the reopening of @trumpgolfla beginning Saturday May 9th!,” the club tweeted. “We look forward to welcoming you back. Book your tee time now!”
Sometimes a tweet is just a tweet. And sometimes it’s an advertisement for your business. And sometimes, when the president of the United States promotes his business on Twitter while overseeing the federal response to a pandemic gutting the economy, it’s a financial conflict of interest.
