Google doesn’t want porn on Glass, the company’s hotly anticipated (and mocked) eyewear-computer combination.
However, we all know that where there is technology there will be porn.
Earlier this week, Motherboard announced that adult app company MiKandi recently sponsored a professional pornographic video shot with Google Glass. Well-known porn stars James Deen and Andy San Dimas wore Google Glass while having sex. The technique was a clever end-run around Google’s ban on pornographic applications. (You can watch the video on YouTube.)
“While developers cannot share Glass apps that serve sexually explicit content,” Mikandi CEO Jesse Adams told Fast Company, “there doesn’t seem to be any terms that prohibit users from shooting their own adult content.”

Are you ready to pick up your very own pair of Google Glasses? Well, you’ll have to be patient: There’s finally a vague release window in sight, but you’ll be a couple years older before it arrives.
During an interview with Bloomberg Television, Google co-founder Sergey Brin announced his hopes to release the consumer version of Project Glass, Google’s augmented reality specs, sometime in 2014. The company is also aiming for a price point below $1,500.
Brin demoed the “glasses” at Google’s I/O 2012 developers conference in Califorina with a stunning presentation that involved a daredevil leap from an airplane; the skydiver wearing the device captured video of his fall while conference attendees gripped their seats and watched it projected live onto a large screen in the conference hall. After the presentation, Brin announced that those interested in purchasing a developer-only prototype of Project Glass, dubbed the “Explorer Edition,” would be able to do so for a staggering $1,500. Those units will ship in 2013, said Brin.

Google’s Project Glass recently got a new blast of publicity for its augmented reality specs with the video “How It Feels,” which purportedly shows what it’s like to be wearing Google Glass. The project also held an #ifIHadGlass competition, in which applicants were invited to submit what they would do if they were given Google Glass. The competition’s winners, yet to be announced, are eligible to receive some of the first copies of Glass, provided they’re willing to cough up $1500.

Google has revealed the first few ‘real people’ who have been picked to try its Google Glasses.
The search giant’s new wearable computer features voice recognition, a camera and a pared down OS which allows users to message, call and share pictures with each other.
While plenty of celebs and Googlers have been spotted wearing Google Glass, it’s trickier for ‘regular’ people to get hold of them.
