Schmap already helped advertisers and other companies understand their Twitter followers through its Know Your Followers product, but today it launched a new, upgraded service called Demographics Pro — CEO Paul Hallett described the concept as “Nielsen for Twitter.”
Nielsen does its own social media analysis, and it announced a partnership with Twitter last fall, but that was focused on measuring the social media impact of TV shows. Demographics Pro is much broader than that, giving customers a detailed demographic breakdown of the people following a given account or commenting on a given hashtag.

Earlier today, Nintendo announced that several of the original Wii’s online services will fade to black in the console’s homeland. Adding to the carnage, the company confirmed that us yankees are far from exempt. Starting on June 28th, the Forecast Channel, News Channel, Everybody Votes Channel, the Check Mii Out Channel and the Nintendo Channel will all be taken offline. Wii Message Board and data exchange between friends are scheduled to get the axe as well.

The Concrete Canvas Shelter is a large inflatable tent made from a unique and highly functional material. It’s made from a canvas-like fabric that’s flexible and lightweight. However, when water is added to the material, it hardens into concrete.
The tent was created by a U.K-based company, which was originally developed for military use and also in an event of a natural disaster where sturdy shelters need to be resurrected quickly.
In test conditions, the inflatable canvas shelter was able to be erected by two people without any training in under an hour. Once the concrete hardens, the building is ready to be used in 24 hours.

In tough circumstances, sometimes all you need is hope, but other times you need a blow-up survival shelter featuring a bed, a couch, freeze-dried food, a 50-gallon water bladder, a first-aid kit, a radio and a cookstove.
And the latter is exactly what the “Life Cube” from startup Inflatable World is designed to provide. Packaged into a four-foot-tall cube, it inflates into a 12-foot-tall structure built from the same thick plastic as a bouncy house.
Designed to provide shelter and basic amenities for people in the days and weeks after a disaster, the instant housing will come with a $3,900 price tag, so the company’s first market could be wealthy survivalists.

INNER THOUGHTS
Greed, jealousy, deceit, conceitedness et al are the enemies of us humans. It is difficult to eradicate these evils from our system so easily. It has been seen that greed has virtually seeped into our system and eating the vitals of our society. We want to have everything so as to raise our status in the society. This may be by taking somebody legitimately earned possessions. We sometimes tend to adopt different stratagems to possess what is not ours. This may be by deceit, by fraudulent means and what not. Even in our families, different methods such as emotional blackmail, treachery etc. is being adopted by different members of the house-hold to lay hand on a share which is legitimately not theirs. This is a real tragedy.
Greed is a handicap in our way for spiritual forward journey and when so called awaked personage does this then God is our…

For 42 years, we have waged war against our own people that we have disguised as the “War on Drugs.” Forty-two years of failure that has cost the American taxpayers $1 trillion dollars, resulted in 45 million drug arrests, and overfilled America’s prisons while failing to reduce the availability, sale, or use of drugs in the United States. Instead, it destroyed the fabric of communities of color, where diseased, innocent people in need of drug rehabilitation were trained in violent criminal behavior and became lifetime consumers of the prison industrial complex. All the while, it led America to become the world’s leading jailer, with 2.3 million of our citizens behind bars, more than any country on earth. Tomorrow, we will begin a “cyber march” on Washington to stop this five-decade-long misery and devastation of humanity, that has resulted in one in every 15 African-American men in prison.
