Jonesing for a “Star Wars” movie marathon you can watch at home on the basic cable you’re already paying for? Help you we can. Yes. Mmm. Sure, you could just hit play on your own collections, if you own them, but there’s a simple joy in turning on the boob tube and seeing something pop up that you actually wanted to watch. It’s almost quaint in the 21st Century.
Today the droids you were looking for announced a licensing agreement between Turner, Disney, and 20th Century Fox, giving Turner exclusive cable rights to all of the “Star Wars” movies — from the three OGs to the prequels to the new set and even spin-offs like “Rogue One.”
Entertainment Weekly shared a statement from Turner exec Deborah K. Bradley, saying, “Through this deal, TNT and TBS will be the exclusive basic cable home of one of the most iconic, enduring and valuable movie franchises of all time, giving viewers the chance to watch this amazing collection from the very beginning.”

“Help me gate agent, you’re my only hope.”
So might open the conversation with All Nippon Airways, if you’re one of the fans who attempt to book a seat aboard the Japanese airline’s new “Star Wars” jet coming this fall. In honor of the iconic movie series, the airline will paint one of its brand-new Boeing 787s with an R2-D2 motif.
An apparent video rendering of the R2-D2 plane, released on YouTube Thursday, shows the nose of the plane decorated with R2-D2’s signature blue and white stripes, along with graphics depicting the robot’s various ports.

“There’s been an awakening. Have you felt it?” A billion years in the making, here’s the first trailer for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
The J.J. Abrams film stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Andy Serkis, Gwendoline Christie and original trilogy cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. Boyega (in full Stormtrooper armor!) and Ridley are glimpsed for the first time in the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer, which utilizes John Williams’ signature “Star Wars” theme to great effect. The Millennium Falcon is there too.
