Luxury Underwater Hotel Near Key West

Just in time for World Oceans Day, an underwater luxury hotel called Planet Ocean Underwater Hotel is now featuring a single underwater guestroom. The hotel, which is still in its planning and fundraising stage, plans to give the proceeds that they raise to a coral reef restoration funding project.
Planet Ocean Underwater Hotel is based near Key West, Florida and features a pod-style room, which is accessed via an underwater elevator. It includes a “King Neptune” bed, a bathroom with a shower, an Italian leather love seat, an HDTV, air conditioning, adjustable LED lighting, underwater Wi-Fi and room service.

AMERICAN ODYSSEY – My rating: 9/10

American Odyssey has made its mark as an exhilarating, mind blowing thriller. Compared to Homeland, it’s full of mystery, intrigue and is every bit as good. This series is about the discovery of a major American corporation that is funding Islamist terror groups and how that company had a team of American soldiers attacked and killed by private military contractors as a covered up. One female soldier (Sergeant Odelle Ballard) was overlooked when she went to relieve herself in the bushes. All the rest of her team were bombed as she watched from afar. She managed to get away undetected. In the meanwhile, the army notified her family that she was killed by Jihadists, but her 12 year old daughter isn’t buying the story. The conspiracy is so big and so involved that it makes for an excellent series. There are many twist and turns and characters throughout the story…

A man has been able to control a robotic limb with a mind-reading chip implanted in his brain.
It allowed Erik Sorto, from California, to sip a drink unaided for the first time in 10 years.
The details, published in Science, reveal how complex bursts of electrical signals in his brain could be interpreted into commands for the arm.
Experts said the results made brain-controlled robotics closer to being a reality.

What’s cookin’ Good lookin’

This year I’ve made it a point to learn my way around the kitchen (sometimes this turns out to be hilarious) but so far every meal I’ve attempted has turned out great and now I feel way more confident in my cooking style. In this post here I mentioned how my idea of hosting was putting a bunch of goldfish on a fancy platter… times have changed and now I can show off what I’ve learned!
Here’s 3 of my favorite recipes to make:
Pan Roasted Chicken Breast with Potatoes (total cook time 1 hour 5 minutes)
(My close friend Josanne gave me this recipe and I’ve got to share the wealth.)
Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken
- Olive Oil
- 4 tablespoons butter (may use olive oil in its place or butter substitute)

Morocco – Agadir and Marrakesh! ❤
Culture, surfing, beach, friendly locals, exiting wildlife and great food – this place has them all! Located in the north-west of Africa, Morocco has much more to offer than what one might think. Head out to Agadir for the beach and into Marrakesh for a great city experience. At night, markets crowd every corner of Marrakesh and the scent of spices and grilled meat linger over the streets. Colourful stands with fabrics, teapots and sweets are joined together by sheer curtains hanging overhead to keep out the chill of the night. In the daytime I’d recommend to sit in the shade in a beautiful garden and try a traditional moroccan breakfast with pastries, bread, honey, tea, dried fruit and olives. Make sure you check out the mosques and the city – the architecture is marvellous!

Being a Melissa McCarthy fan, I must say, she didn’t let me down, Spy was great. I laughed all the way through the movie. Susan Cooper (Melissa McCarthy) is a trained spy, but works in the basement of the CIA HQ where there are bats in the ceiling and mice running all over the place. She is the trained eyes for her teammate Bradley Fine, (Jude Law) when he is in the field. She is secretly smitten with him and pines her life away hoping someday he will give her more than the time of day. She gets no respect from the higher ups and no prospect of ever getting out of her current work situation. Without giving away spoilers, the situation changes and Susan goes out into the field where she becomes a super spy. While there’s a lot of unbelievable stunts, Susan’s role takes on a new meaning…

ENTOURAGE (2015) – My rating: 8.5/10

If you were a fan of the HBO series, Entourage, then you will absolutely love this movie. If you were not a fan or never saw the series, you may still like Entourage but not as much. I was a huge fan of the series and I loved the movie. The liberties HBO took with the series was so remarkable and entertaining, I found myself each week wanting more. The sadist moment for me was when the series ended. The entourage is made up of 4 friends from Queens, NY who came to Los Angeles to make it on the movie scene. Actually, there is only one movie star on board, Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier), who is extremely good looking and charismatic.
