President Donald Trump may want to consider swinging by the kitchen when he visits his plush Mar-a-Lago resort this weekend.
Florida health inspectors found more than a dozen violations during a Jan. 26 check of the Palm Beach, Florida estate, according to recently published reports from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations.
Three of those violations were labeled high priority, meaning they could contribute to foodborne illness. The club did, however, meet the minimum standards to remain in operation.

April has been declared National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. At the heart of raising awareness and supporting prevention is education. Educating oneself about a sensitive, painful and extremely personal subject may seem challenging, especially when there exists a wide array of resources from which to learn.
Film is one of the many educational resources available. Both fictional and documentary films have explored the subject of sexual assault, so check out the following options and get to watching.
United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz apologized for the forcible removal of a paying passenger from one of its flights and called the episode “truly horrific.”
Munoz pledged a full review by April 30 “to fix what’s broken so this never happens again.”
“I want you to know that we take full responsibility and we will work to make it right,” Munoz said in a statement on Tuesday. “I promise you we will do better.”
It was his third attempt to quell growing outrage after a passenger was removed, bloodied and screaming, from a flight that was to take off from Chicago for Louisville, Kentucky, on Sunday night. United (UAL) wanted to give seats to commuting crew members.
With flu season making it’s earliest start in years, and certain strains of the virus hitting unlucky Americans hard this year, it’s important to be extra vigilant in your efforts to avoid catching it.
I recently got this question emailed to me by a concerned viewer:
Q: When is someone who has the flu contagious?
Some people who are infected with the influenza virus can actually transmit the illness before they begin to feel any symptoms.
Most of the time, you will become contagious about 24 to 72 hours after contracting the influenza virus and remain that way for up to five days after the onset of symptoms.

Lina Medina was born to a poor Peruvian family in 1933 and only 5 years old when doctors found what they believed to be a large stomach tumor. After a series of tests, it turned out Lina had a condition called “precocious puberty” and had actually been pregnant for seven months. She gave birth to a healthy, six-pound son just weeks later, by Caesarean section, as her pelvis was too small for a natural birth. The boy was named Gerardo, after the doctor who delivered him.
Researchers have found a genetic mutation that turns people into Martians — at least when it comes to sleep patterns.
People with the mutation tend to be night owls because it keeps them on a perpetual 24 ½ hour schedule — close to the Martian 24 hour, 39 minute day, researchers reported in the journal Cell.
With their body clocks always running a little longer than everybody else’s, it’s like having perpetual jet lag, the researchers at the Rockefeller University report.
“Carriers of the mutation have longer days than the planet gives them, so they are essentially playing catch-up for their entire lives,” said Alina Patke, who headed up the research effort.
Pierce Brosnan’s personal tragedies have permanently influenced his outlook on life.
The actor, who grew up in Ireland, lost his first wife Cassandra to ovarian cancer in 1991. In 2013, 22 years later, the same disease took his daughter Charlotte. So when it comes to his outlook on life, the actor admits he’s not one to always look for the positive.
“I don’t look at the cup as half full, believe me,” Brosnan, 63, tells Esquire. “The dark, melancholy Irish black dog sits beside me from time to time.”
The actor has a son, actor Sean Brosnan, 33, with his late wife and adopted her two children, Charlotte and Christopher, 44. After Cassandra’s death, Brosnan married his current wife Keely Shaye Smith, with whom he has two sons: Dylan, 20, and Paris, 16.
The Ohio governor unveiled a plan Thursday that targets the place where experts say many opioid addictions begin — the doctor’s office.
Gov. John Kasich’s order limits the amount of opiates primary care physicians and dentists can prescribe to no more than seven days for adults and five days for minors.
In addition to the pill limits, Kasich said the new rules require doctors to provide a specific diagnosis and procedure code for every painkiller prescription they write.
And Kasich warned that doctors who don’t follow the rules will lose their licenses.
“You’re going to have to abide by these rules,” he said.

The governor of Kansas vetoed a bill on Thursday that would have expanded Medicaid in his state. But the legislature is reserving the option of trying to override the veto and Virginia and North Carolina are moving toward expansion.
Several other states are considering it.
It’s a fast turnaround made by states that had resolutely resisted taking part on a major plank of the 2010 Affordable Care Act — the expansion of Medicaid to cover more people.
Now that the GOP-sponsored American Health Care Act has failed to win support in Congress, governors and state legislatures are taking a hard look at whether that offer of federally funded Medicaid expansion is worth taking up.
