Caught between who I am and who I want to be

A battle of the past still fought in the present

The struggles to be and the longing to move on

Thoughts to give up, wishes to survive

Caught in constant fear, as the fright within pushes me away

A battle long finished, still goes on within

Then… comes a twist,  on the battle field

The battle is mine to win

Setting my strategies to suit my grounds. moving to the next level

A battle is won, but,  I am left with more battles to conquer within,

as i battle hard to survive another day. Suddenly!

Seeds sowed,  starts blooms into beautiful flowers, on rigid soil, which was once declared barren

Here I am,  a Hero of my Kind

The Stranger in me is none but me again

A 71-year-old man burned himself to death aboard a Japanese high-speed train on Tuesday in what appeared to be a deliberate act of self-immolation, the authorities and witnesses said. A second passenger on the train, a woman, also died.

The man, who some witnesses said appeared to be mentally disturbed, doused himself and parts of the train’s interior with a flammable liquid before igniting it with a cigarette lighter at the front of the train, just outside the driver’s compartment, passengers told Japanese television networks.

Aerial footage showed emergency crews and railway workers surrounding the sleek, white Shinkansen bullet train, which had been traveling to Osaka from Tokyo. Twenty-six people were treated for injuries including burns and smoke inhalation, the local Fire Department said.

The human body’s approach to locomotion is a marvel of efficiency. Usually. Results can vary before the first cup of coffee, in my experience. But generally speaking, evolution and learned behavior have produced a standard human stride that is metabolically admirable.

Still, there’s always room for improvement. In a paper published in this week’s Nature, researchers report they’ve developed a lightweight boot-like exoskeleton that can reduce the energy cost of walking around by around seven percent.

That might not seem like much, but over long distances such metabolic savings can really add up. What’s more, the device doesn’t use any power source at all — and still delivers results comparable to powered exoskeleton solutions. The report was authored by Steven Collins of Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Engineering.
