If you are ever in Western Montana you should totally check out Holland Falls. It’s a very easy 1.6 mile hike along Holland Lake. It’s a good hike for all ages as well.

It’s great for a family outing and plus there are several campsites right on the lake.

I love you. You are a wonderful addition to my life. How much I have changed and grown because of you.

When you grow up and leave my house, your father and I will be just fine.

WHAT?!

Yes, I just said that. Your father and will be just fine. In fact, we will be happy to see you go out and be in the world, no longer dependent on us as parents. We will enjoy our home, our freedom, our financial independence. Yep, we are going to have a party.

The thing is, I loved having you, teaching you, being your mother. But your father and I were sweethearts long before you were ever born and we will be the ones who stay together in this house, this relationship. Our love will never change.

My love for you will always be strong but our relationship will change. You won’t…

There’s no doubt that Alzheimer’s is a terrible, irreversible disease that affects more than 5 million people in the United States. And that number is only going to grow as more baby boomers enter their golden years.

One of the biggest challenges with Alzheimer’s, from a clinical perspective, is diagnosing whether or not a person has the disease early enough so that they can adequately prepare their lives for what’s ahead. One area that researchers have been focused on is the presence of beta-amyloid plaques in areas of the brain responsible for memory; there’s evidence that a person with Alzheimer’s often develops these plaques, sometimes years before symptoms appear.

New brain scanning technologies now make it possible to detect the existence of these plaques, but there’s a lot of debate over the accuracy, invasiveness and high cost of these scans.

However, we’re getting closer to…

Today, the daily prompt asks, to tell and talk about an unconventional love in my life, I find that a little hard to extract at first, especially after I had just explained the recent topic about Love, and how I expressed my LOVE with Mum, on Mother’s day, so daily prompt now asks for another love question,

Wow. Okay. 🙂

It took me sometime to think through this, and i had to scroll through other daily prompt bloggers to get the understanding of what this post was actually about

To my understanding, i guess unconventional love would be something that’s loving something out of the norm, at least that’s what i got from googling unconventional love stories.

I love the moon. Really. I once had the feeling that the moon was really alive like a princess stuck in a far away distance , and every time when…

Einstein’s special relativity has proven more useful than ever, as scientists have now used it to discover an alien planet around another star.

The newfound world — nicknamed “Einstein’s planet” by the astronomers who discovered it — is the latest of more than 800 planets known to exist beyond our solar system, and the first to be found through this method.

The planet, officially known as Kepler-76b, is 25 percent larger than Jupiter and weighs about twice as much, putting it in a class known as “hot Jupiters.” The world orbits a star located about 2,000 light-years from Earth in the constellation Cygnus. [7 Ways to Discover Alien Planets]

The researchers capitalized on subtle effects predicted by Albert Einstein’s special theory of relativity to find the planet. The first is called the “beaming” effect, and occurs when light from the parent star…

Texas law enforcement officials on Friday launched a criminal investigation into the massive fertilizer plant explosion that killed 14 people last month, after weeks of largely treating the blast as an industrial accident.

The announcement came the same day federal agents said they found bomb-making materials belonging to a paramedic who helped evacuate residents the night of the explosion. Bryce Reed was arrested early Friday on a charge of possessing a destructive device, but law enforcement officials said they had not linked the charge to the April 17 fire and blast at West Fertilizer Co.

“It is important to emphasize that at this point, no evidence has been uncovered to indicate any connection to the events surrounding the fire and subsequent explosion … and the arrest of Bryce Reed by the ATF,” the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

I had a funeral — without dying. It was a good experience.

When I had to leave Guatemala, all the church members gushed about my good qualities. My defects, which previously had dominated evaluations, got forgotten. Now I know what it’s like to die.

This is the Yelp predicament. A disgruntled customer is highly motivated to post a comment. A satisfied one, not at all. Businesses have been sunk by this psychological phenomenon.

If you are given to criticizing others in the church, realize that:

• criticism is not a calling, not a charge, not a gifting from God. It lines up more with what the accuser of the brethren (Satan) does.
• you excuse and justify your own faults.
• you blow out of proportion your own merits.
• you probably are unaware of all kinds of services and sacrifices made by the very person you’re criticizing.
• the effects of your criticism will…
