One of Sally Ann Okuly’s favorite things to do was take the walk from her home in Woodbridge, Va. to a nearby Wawa gas station.

Last Sunday morning, the 59-year-old cancer survivor took her first walk in six months after recovering from a motorcycle crash six months ago. She was crossing the street with a green light, when 24-year-old Amanda Styles-Mays struck her in a car, police told NBC Washington. Okuly died the next morning in the hospital.

Her husband, Bill Okuly, spoke through tears as he broke more sad news: The couple was set to celebrate their 41st anniversary on Monday.

“She was the most giving person ever,” said Bill Okuly, who was a member of the Rolling Thunder motorcycle club with his wife.

After considering 20 different portable hard drives from a variety of manufacturers and reading every review we could get our hands on, we decided the Western Digital 2TB My Passport Ultra is the best portable hard drive because it received high praise from reviewers across the board and offers more storage for your money than any other drive you can get right now. For $50 on top of the roughly $100 you’d spend on a 1TB portable from another company, you get twice the storage (and a small speed bump) without sacrificing portability.

“The main difference that relates to Thanksgiving is the volume and constituents of the meal,” says Kuemmerle. “In large part the high fat can lead to feeling very full…

Inspiration can strike in the most unexpected places, and often, the best creative ideas occur while we’re sleeping. Dreams can be a rich source of inner wisdom, and they can be useful in a variety of contexts, from problem-solving to reducing stress.

According to psychoanalyst Carl Jung, our dreams can function on many different levels, from telling us which parts of our psyche are out of balance to anticipating our future needs. He also believed that most dreams operated on the level of stories, myths and archetypes — making them a wonderful source of ideas and inspiration.

“All human beings are also dream beings,” Jack Kerouac, who composed a book entirely of his own dreams, once said. “Dreaming ties all mankind together.”
