 The body of an infant found Sunday in the San Diego area is that of a 3-week-old baby who was abducted from a Long Beach home after a shooting a day earlier, police said.

The identification of Eliza Delacruz came after detectives from Long Beach traveled to San Diego County to help authorities investigate the discovery of remains found in a dumpster behind an Imperial Beach strip mall.

Police said the San Diego County Coroner’s office identified the child, who had disappeared Saturday night from a Long Beach home.

Police arrested three Indians for allegedly gang raping a 22-year-old Japanese research scholar in a Buddhist pilgrimage center in eastern India, police said Friday.

Police were looking for two more suspects who also allegedly kept the Japanese woman as a hostage for nearly three weeks in Bodh Gaya, a town nearly 130 kilometers (80 miles) south of Patna, the capital of Bihar state, police officer Akhilesh Singh said.

She managed to escape from their captivity on Dec. 26 and reached Kolkata, once known as Calcutta, where she was based and filed a police complaint. She was studying life in rural India for some time, Singh said.

Per fortuna c’erano dei soldini che sono sempre ben graditi, soprattutto in tempo di saldi – e nel prossimo week-end sicuro mi farò un giro per negozi, non vedo l’ora!!! Al di là del piacere dello shopping, mai come stavolta diventa davvero una necessità: devo assolutamente prendere qualche gonna, che tutte quelle che ho mi vanno grandi. Sui pantaloni, non so: per il momento sto arrangiando usando le cinture (forse una cintura nuova mi servirebbe, però), e forse vorrei aspettare di modellare un po’ le cosce prima di comprarne di nuovi.

A proposito della colazione, ieri ho sbagliato a scrivere (anzi, ora correggo): ho mangiato 4 Col cuore e 2 Osvego, così come stamattina. Mi ha tratto in inganno la foto, perché dopo averla…
