Alot of people have the wrong idea on being vegan, they think its too hard and you can’t eat anything so here are my top 10 suggestions on the transition into a vegan lifestyle, it’s easier then it looks.

1. Don’t eat the processed vegan stuff.
2. Don’t be hard on yourself, if you break and eat some meat or dairy just try again.
3. Make sure you take into account that you’re not eating meat and make up for the nutrition in vegetables, lentils and seeds.
4. You can still be unhealthy being a vegan, try to eat more plant based.
5. Have 3 go to meals for when you finish work late and can’t be bothered.
6. Make it as easy and enjoyable as possible, try pre making meals.
7. Try new vegetables and give it a chance.

A New York couple who faced life imprisonment on charges of holding a paralyzed woman captive for over a year received sentences on Thursday of more than a decade in prison in a plea deal with prosecutors.

Maureen Murray, now 61, was discovered by police in 2012 with broken bones and severe malnourishment, huddled on the floor of a bare apartment room in the city’s Queens borough, prosecutors said.

Police had been called by Murray’s niece who was concerned she could not reach her.

My quest to discover the best destinations in the Philippines continues and the next leg of my journey got me to “The Hundred Islands”.

The Hundred Islands National Park is located in Alaminos City, Pangasinan. Approximately five (5) hours away from Manila. It is composed of 124 islands at low tide and 123 at high tide. These islands and islets are scattered in Lingayen Gulf covering an area of 1,667 hectares.

These are the boats transporting tourists from Lucap wharf in Alaminos to the hundred islands.

There’s been a lot of anticipation about Unbroken.  My grandson told me that Unbroken was going to change his life, he called it an inspirational movie.  The talk of his high school is “Unbroken will teach you courage and inspire you to new heights”.  After seeing the movie, I agree it’s inspirational and much, much more.  This movie didn’t get a Best Picture nod or anything that shows off the acting and director abilities.  I grant you some scenes were a little drawn out but overall, Unbroken which is based on a true story, was entertaining as well as heart rinsing, interesting and intense.  Unbroken was directed by Angelina Jolie who, in my opinion, did a fantastic job.  Unbroken tells the story of Louis Zamperini (Jack ‘OConnell) who was an accomplished distance runner, earning him the nickname “The Torrance Tornado.”  Eventually he qualified  for the 1936 Summer Olympics in…
