Un pais grande y precioso . Solo le pude dedicar 2 semanas . Visite la capital , Santiago , tambien Valparaiso , Valpo . A nivel precios , es el pais mas caro de Sudamerica . La comida , transporte y alojamiento , especialmente . Moviendote en mercados locales , cocinandote , couchsurfing y viajar a dedo , podras sobrevivir facilmente . La gente es muy hospitalaria . Su acento es muy pronunciado . Ir a dedo funciona muy bien . Buenas carreteras y los camioneros suelen llevarte a distancias largas .

I was about to go into my senior year of high school, but in mid-August of 2014, my high school suffered a fire that nearly destroyed the gym. Due to the incident, instead of school commencing on the 1st of September, it was scheduled to start on the 15th. So I had about 2 weeks added to our summer. My parents and I decided to take a road trip to Sault Ste. Marie, Canada.

Sault Ste. Marie is actually split between the province of Ontario, Canada; and the state of Michigan, United States. The Soo Locks separate the two countries.

Due to the time of the year (early September), it wasn’t hard to find a reasonable hotel once we crossed the border. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Sault Ste. Marie,  the staff was wonderfully accommodating and kind. The main reason we came to Sault Ste. Marie was to do…

Apparently, you haven’t really tasted chocolate until you’ve snorted it. At least, that’s what a Belgian chocolatier is saying.

Dominique Persoone recently introduced the “chocolate shooter,” a catapult-like device that propels small amounts of cocoa powder and other spices into your nose.

“You load it like a gun, putting very little chocolate mix on the machine … Then, you push, and pfffff! The chocolate blows in your nose,” Persoone told Live Science.

I go back to my statement a few weeks ago about Hollywood running out of new ideas for new movies.  I think if you’re going to do something that’s been done a million times before, you had better be two steps ahead of everyone else.  The trouble with Focus is, I started feeling like every word spoken was part of a con.  First, let me explain what Focus is about.  A con man Nicky (Will Smith), with a crew of cons has made his career about conning people out of their money, valuables and sometimes, even their dignity.  A wanna be con women Jess (Margot Robbie) tries to pull a scam on Nicky but fails.  She then persuades Nicky to teach her the tricks of the trade.  Together they manage to con have of New Orleans before it’s time to move on.  It’s interesting to see what and how scams…

 From the ground in this extreme northern part of Antarctica, spectacularly white and blinding ice seems to extend forever. What can’t be seen is the battle raging thousands of feet (hundreds of meters) below to re-shape Earth.

Water is eating away at the Antarctic ice, melting it where it hits the oceans. As the ice sheets slowly thaw, water pours into the sea — 130 billion tons of ice (118 billion metric tons) per year for the past decade, according to NASA satellite calculations. That’s the weight of more than 356,000 Empire State Buildings, enough ice melt to fill more than 1.3 million Olympic swimming pools. And the melting is accelerating.

In the worst case scenario, Antarctica’s melt could push sea levels up 10 feet (3 meters) worldwide in a century or two, recurving heavily populated coastlines.

An albino toddler who went missing in Tanzania was found dismembered, and police say they believe the gruesome death is linked to witchcraft rituals.

One-year-old Yohana Bahati, who has albinism, was kidnapped from his home in the Geita region of northwestern Tanzania by an armed gang Sunday, Reuters reported.

His body was found in a Tanzanian forest with the arms and legs cut off, Sky News reported Thursday. Police say the limbs could possibly have been used for witchcraft rituals. Witch doctors believe the body parts of albino people — who lack pigment in their skin, hair or eyes — can bring about wealth and good luck when used in spells, the outlet notes.

3D designer Jody Garrett got a great assignment from his employer: Help us figure out how to use 3D printing to enhance our thriving architectural practice.

Garrett works for the Neenan Company, an architectural firm in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he uses 3DS Max to take two-dimensional designs to three dimensions. He explained, “I provide the ArchViz services for our design team,” which it makes it much easier for clients to visualize construction outcomes.

Garrett got the go-ahead from his bosses to experiment to his heart’s content while learning to use ZBrush, the digital sculpting and painting program by Pixologic. With ZBrush, you can produce incredibly realistic renders, including creating lighting and atmospheric effects, taking a design from rough sketch stage to 3D printer ready. William Shatner played Captain Kirk opposite Leonard Nimoy’s Mr. Spock on the “Star Trek” television series and in multiple feature films. Following Nimoy’s death on Friday, Shatner released a statement about losing his longtime friend and colleague.

It can seem inevitable. You hit the dreaded PMS week each month and you’re tired, you’re in pain and you feel as if you’re heavier than usual for no apparent reason. Is there any crueler gender-specific biological punishment?

But before you fall into another unproductive bout of self-pity about your body, know there’s new research that puts that weight-related symptom in context.

While previous studies have suggested hormones may cause a woman to obsess about body size, that hypothesis misses a very important link. The new study, published in the International Journal of Eating Disorders, suggests that it’s actually the guilt a woman may feel about how much she’s eating as a result of those hormones that puts her at higher risk of suffering feelings of self-loathing — whether or not she’s actually gaining weight.
