I tested him this weekend.

I gave him a taste of the treatment he gives me daily. His parents came down to visit us and take us out to lunch. I began the day as normal. He was normal too. No ‘good mornings’, no kiss, nothing. Just plodding on with life, doing our parts and getting by. I changed tactic. For my own sanity, I tend to lead the affection in our relationship. Not that I feel much for him any more. Yesterday there were no casual touches, no holding hands. I waited for a singular touch from him, a brush of his hand against my back or a stroke on my leg as we sat down to lunch beside each other. I waited and received nothing.

Just one gesture.

It’s all I want.

He hasn’t touched me for weeks.

So I didn’t touch him. I didn’t reach out and…

Whenever I am back in Taiwan, I would make it a point to bring back some tea, especially the high-mountain Oolong Tea. Taiwan is known to produce one of the best tea in the world thanks to its ideal climate and mature tea culture. There are also many tea cultivators in Taiwan who are extremely devoted in ensuring the production of high quality tea leaves.

Given its tea culture, there are many places where you can just chill out and have a good cup of Chinese tea and today, I will be highly recommending the elegant Yoshan Tea (Yoshantea), a tea culture house located in the Jhushan (Zhushan) Township in the Nantou County of Taiwan.

WHY I CAN’T STAND GEORGES BATAILLE

I first discovered Bataille at the age of eighteen. Here was a French Nietzschean who wrote strident essays and excessively explicit novels. What was there not to like? Throughout my eighteenth and nineteenth years, I read the oeuvres of Bataille, alongside the works of Heidegger, Derrida, and many others.

Around the age of twenty, my relationship with Bataille underwent a change. I could no longer stand to read his writings.

La Littérature et le Mal (1957) destroyed my love for Bataille. The book is almost unreadably silly. Bataille argues, with the most incredible casuistry, that literature and evil are the same. Literature evades collective necessity. Evil evades collective necessity. Both literature and evil evade collective necessity. Therefore, literature IS evil. However, this does not seem to imply, according to Bataille, that evil is literature.

This one almost got by me. The Identical is considered a really bad movie.  I disagree!  This story starts off in 1936 during the Great Depression and is about two families, a couple with twin boys and a childless couple who couldn’t have children. Wow! What a roller coaster ride. The gangs all back in full force. They have brought along their woes and brain storms too. Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downing, Jr.) and Bruce Banner/Hulk (Mark Raffalo) lock minds to perfect peaceful software into man’s dream of a safe and peaceful environment from aliens and bad humans, alike. Of course the whole thing backfires making Age of Ultron one of the most profitable films of the Avenger series. Ultron gets a body as well as a voice (James Spader) plus endless power to fight and destroy all Tony and Bruce has worked for, including the ever so faithful, J.A.V.I.S. After all is said and done, two new super powers are created. One reasonably good and one pure evil, bent on destroying all of mankind. We learn in this sequel, Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johannson) and The Hulk are attracted to one another but…

Sedona, with all of its majestic tranquility, is one of the most unique places to visit in the United States. The stunning beauty of the Red Rocks against the quaint town and abundant desert landscape quietly beckons adventurers from all walks of life to explore it’s natural splendors.

    I had the most amazing getaway to Sedona with my big ol’ crazy family this past weekend. Originally, I had planned to embark on this mini weekend road trip solo, but I’m glad that everyone decided to join me (for this trip at least hehe  😉 )  After all, what good is fun times and making wonderful memories if there is no one to share them with?

If you have never visited Sedona, this is another place you need to circle on your map as a must-see destination. I think I speak for everyone who jumped in our huge rental…

        

I was full of miss guided disfunction.. Basically full of shit. That i thought i knew best about everything with unachievable goals and unlimited lottery aspirations. Today blind drunk to tomorrow CEO of pomfrey and sons, i Didn’t know what line of business that was going to be in but boy i thought i was going to be, And believed it aswell.  You see thats what chemicals and substances can do to people even without the addiction of them. Put them both together and you’ve got a loaded weapon waiting…

Potato soup is awesome!  Potato’s are very popular and have been for at least a couple hundred years.  I wonder if potatoes ever get a big head and how you would know that…..  It must feel really good to be popular for 100’s of years.  I’ve never personally met an arrogant potato, but that’s just my experience.  If you think about it, any person would feel good to be popular at least through grade school.  So cud-do’s to potatoes for kicking it for so long.  The potato has got it all goin on.  You are a starchy, tuberous, delicious, delight…

Everyone should have potato SOUP at least once in their lifetime.  If not this one, then the next…please.  It’s simple, satisfying, and perhaps a little hob-nobberish if you call it Vichyssoise.   I think that’s French for “I’m better than you cause you didn’t know about potato soup.”
