A man uses a drone to expose pig factory farming where pigs never go outside and their urine and feces is washed into huge ponds which are emptied by spraying the excrement high into the air, the wind carries it to neighboring communities. What appears as rain is actually pig excrement in droplets covering the communities with its associated smell.

Hot Night on the Power Plant Precipitator
July 12, 2015
Scott Hubbard and I weren’t too sure why we had been called out that night when we met at the Bowling Alley on Washington Street at two o’clock in the morning in Stillwater Oklahoma to drive out to the coal-fired Power Plant in North Central Oklahoma. Something about a fire on the top of the precipitator.
I was glad that Scott was driving instead of me when I climbed into his pickup and he began the 20 mile journey up Highway 177. I wasn’t quite awake yet from the phone call at 1:45 am telling me that there was a fire on the Unit 1 precipitator roof and they were calling Scott and I out to put it out. I figured if there was a fire it should be put out long before the 45 minutes it takes me and Scott to arrive at the plant.
We had all been…

Peter Pilotto’s Resort 2016 Collection
July 9, 2015
Expanding upon the childhood board game themed collection of Peter Pilotto’s F/W 2015 RTW collection, Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos collaborated on researching the deeper history of board games.

This led them to ancient Greece, where they combined the aesthetic of an ancient Greek board game with that off the gladiator, Aegean style. Whimsical and gorgeous.

Summer Fun Essentials

So today was Monday and at first it started out feeling exactly like a Monday… I didn’t want to get out of bed… it was 4th of July weekend, who wanted to get up after a long weekend vacation?!
I had to have my coffee and I just got the cutest cup from surpassingly Michaels’ right when I checked out last week. What better way to start Monday than with a cup of coffee in a mug that says, “Coffee Makes Me a Better person?”
So then I decided to use my iPad that I always have with me to reply to all of your guys, which thanks so much for all the write-ins, my Monday was brighter because of all you guys! 🙂
I caught up on my People Style fashion and decided I need to join the Taylor Swift matching top and skirt trend!! I’m on the hunt…

Different Humans, Different Cultures, Different Places….
July 7, 2015
Why people make a distinction? I don’t understand . Ok. I know. Rich people always rich. Poor people always poor. Consequently we are all human beings.I hate this comparison. So people are forced to communicate with each other. Perhaps this comparison is affecting people’s lives worse. For instance, You want to live different country. You have a decided. You think you know a lot about that country.Maybe you don’t know. But you want to go. You want to live in that country. You’re doing everything in your power to live there. I told you different country, different culture…
Maybe one day You will think You’re going to give up. But don’t give up. You can do it. How do you know? 🙂
For instance, I want to live in England. I’m not British. But I want to live. Different culture, different habits, different living conditions,Different country, city, place, etc…. It doesn’t matter for me. Just You want and believe yourself…

Em uma das minhas andanças por livrarias (amo), me deparei com o livro “Como Ser Uma Parisiense, em qualquer lugar do mundo” (english: How To Be Parisian Wherever You Are: Love, Style, and Bad Habits) da editora Fontanar.
😀Merci beaucoup!!!

Copper, the Alchemist, & the Woman in Trousers: Episode 23
July 4, 2015
To those of you in the USA…
Happy Independence Day!
In celebration, rather than taking you to the Victorian Era on our usual steam locomotive, this time we’ll bring all our picnic paraphernalia and get on board a red, white, and blue decorated dirigible and soar into our story.
Steering the airship is Kathryn, aka KR Bigfish from Another Foodie Blogger, who gave us the “three things” for this episode. As sometimes happens, a comment also made its way into the episode. Kathryn mentioned a particular purple critter, and I couldn’t resist. But I’ll leave that for a surprise.
Remember to check for fun and informative links in the text and images.
The dirigible is tugging at its ropes — ready to sail through the air, through time and realities. So… All aboard!
From last time…
“It’s an amethyst world!” Copper exclaimed when she saw the strange place where the…
