The Maldives officially the Republic of Maldives is a small country in South Asia, located in the Arabian Sea of the Indian Ocean. Comprising a territory spanning roughly 298 square kilometers (115 sq mi), the Maldives is one of the world’s most geographically dispersed sovereign states as well as the smallest Asian country by land area and population, with around 515,696 inhabitants. Malé is the capital and the most populated city, traditionally called the “King’s Island” for its central location.

The necklace of islands that make up the Maldives is characterized by beautiful blue oceans and tropical islands with swaying palm trees and sugar-white sandy beaches. This spectacular archipelagic nation is home to a diverse array of wildlife, both on land and in the sea, ranging from tiny geckos to mammoth whale sharks.
Being an ocean-locked nation, the majority of the wildlife in the Maldives is aquatic and there is an incredible diversity of sea life from numerous corals to over 2,000 species of fish, ranging from tiny, colorful reef fish, moray eels, turtles, and rays, to giant pelagic fish, such as tuna, sharks, dolphins, and whale sharks. Other marine life in the waters surrounding the islands includes octopus, squid, giant clams, various kinds of anemones and jellyfish. The few ponds and marshes on some of the islands have freshwater fish like the milkfish (Chanos Chanos), tilapia and smaller species, and saltwater crocodiles have been known to reach the islands and dwell in marshy areas.

What is it about humans that make us love–and hate–being lost? Since the time of ancient Greece, we’ve been figuring out ways to entertain ourselves within extraordinarily confusing structures.
There are dozens of different types of mazes: there are standard mazes, which feature “multi-route” paths; and labyrinths, which only have single routes. Then there are indoor mazes, plain air mazes, hedge mazes, corn mazes and so on.

Conguillío National Park is located in the Andes, in the provinces of Cautín and Malleco, in the Araucanía Region of Chile also known as Region IX. Its name derives from the Mapuche word for “water with Araucaria seeds”.
Among the attractions in the park are the Llaima volcano, Sierra Nevada and wild landscapes characterized by islands of vegetation completely surrounded by vast areas of lava flows.
Extensive forests, formed mainly by Araucarias and Nothofagus species, and small lakes increase the scenic beauty of the park.
It is also known as Los Paraguas (The Umbrellas), due to the shape of the Monkey Puzzle trees.
The park was used as a filming location for Walking with Dinosaurs, a television series produced by the BBC.

Venice, the capital of northern Italy’s Veneto region, is built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. It has no roads, just canals – including the Grand Canal thoroughfare – lined with Renaissance and Gothic palaces. The central square, Piazza San Marco, contains St. Mark’s Basilica, which is tiled with Byzantine mosaics, and the Campanile bell tower offering views of the city’s red roofs.

The Athabasca Glacier is one of the six principal ‘toes’ of the Columbia Icefield, located in the Canadian Rockies. The glacier currently loses depth at a rate of about 5 metres per year and has receded more than 1.5 km and lost over half of its volume in the past 125 years.

Proverbs 6: 6-19
The Folly of Indolence
6
Go to the ant, you sluggard!
Consider her ways and be wise,
7
Which, having no captain,
Overseer or ruler,
8
Provides her supplies in the summer,
And gathers her food in the harvest.
9
How long will you slumber, O sluggard?
When will you rise from your sleep?
10
A little sleep, a little slumber,
A little folding of the hands to sleep—
11
So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler,
And your need like an armed man.
The Wicked Man
12
A worthless person, a wicked man,
Walks with a perverse mouth;
13
He winks with his eyes,
He shuffles his feet,
He points with his fingers;
14
Perversity is in his heart,
He devises evil continually,
He sows discord.
15
Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly;
Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy.
16
These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
17
A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
18
A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19
A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.
