The Rocky Mountain elk is a subspecies of elk found in the Rocky Mountains and adjacent ranges of Western North America.The winter ranges are most common in open forests and floodplain marshes in the lower elevations. In the summer it migrates to the subalpine forests and alpine basins.

The largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, Jasper is wild in every sense of the word. Its landscape covers an expansive region of rugged backcountry trails and mountainous terrain juxtaposed against fragile protected ecosystems as well as the world-renowned Columbia Icefield.

Morocco, a North African country bordering the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, is distinguished by its Berber, Arabian, and European cultural influences. Marrakesh’s medina, a mazelike medieval quarter, offers entertainment in its Djemaa el-Fna square and souks (marketplaces) selling ceramics, jewelry and metal lanterns. The capital Rabat’s Kasbah of the Udayas is a 12th-century royal fort overlooking the water.

The white stork is a large bird in the stork family Ciconiidae. Its plumage is mainly white, with black on the bird’s wings. Adults have long red legs and long pointed red beaks, and measure on average 100–115 cm from beak tip to end of the tail, with a 155–215 cm wingspan.

The Natural monument of Los Barruecos is composed of large granite stones on the edge of ponds. The Vostell Museum is located inside the park, in an 18th Century woolen washing place.

Besides in the surrounding area we may find old tombs, Roman edification remains, or the megalithic remains at Hijadilla are other interesting spots in los Barruecos.

Los Barruecos was declared a Natural Monument due to the nature richness it holds and because it is surrounded by spectacular landscapes. It is located right in the center of the plains of Cáceres, an almost plain zone where great granite stones stand out.

Around the pond live a wide variety of birds and animals such as ducks, herons, ornate hawk-eagle, Montagu’s harrier, otter, newts, and of course storks and their nests built on top of rocks.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast is an oblast in western Ukraine. Its administrative center is the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. As is the case with most other oblasts of Ukraine this region has the same name as its administrative center –  which was renamed by the Soviet Ukrainian authorities after the Ukrainian writer Ivan Franko on November 9, 1962. Population: 1,382,352 (2016 est.)
