For almost a month Leonardo Cortinas, the retired Marine was practicing for his 15-year-old daughter, Jasmine’s, birthday. They spent almost a month planning the surprise. Although the dance starts slow and chill very quickly it transforms to something that shocked the guests. This mixture of chill-hip-hop medley lasting almost five minutes transcends all music genres. Finaly, the Retired Marine seems to lost way and is finally replaced by another guest.
After watching the result, you’ll know for a fact that this father truly loves his daughter…and is darn proud of it!
.
You have to admit that this is one of the most sweet-est, heart-warming, father-daughter dances!

Scientists say there are more than 6,900 languages in the world, and anyone who’s traveled abroad knows how hard it can be to get even simple points across in a foreign tongue.
Breaking down language barriers has long been a dream of science fiction — “Star Trek” had its Universal Translator to help the Enterprise crew understand exotic alien speech, and C3PO from “Star Wars” knew more than 6 million forms of communication from across the galaxy.
Now, thanks to advances in real-time translation software, the dream of speaking to anyone regardless of language is closer to reality than ever. Experts say human translators won’t be out of work anytime soon — they’re vital for legal proceedings, diplomatic discussions, and scenarios when exact word choice and tone are necessary — but new inexpensive digital tools allow people to speak easily in situations where communication once seemed impossible.

In the best of Trump voters, there’s deep and intense dissatisfaction. A feeling that anything must be better than the politics of our memory, whether that memory is the few years of the 18 year old first time voter or the several decades of the elder Trump voter.
In many, I think, there’s an approach to politics that is identical to the approach to sport. You choose a team, and you root for them no matter what. Which is a foolish and dangerous approach to politics no matter who you’re voting for, and a core failure of civic education at school, in our communities, and in our homes.
But I’m not talking about the best of Trump voters here. I’m not talking about the rah-rah-go-team voters, or the reluctant ideologues who don’t like Trump but hate anyone outside the GOP more, or the impulse-shopper voters who went with whoever’s last sound bite they liked more, or the strategic ‘he’ll pick SCOTUS justices I’ll like’ voters or the on-the-fence voters who aren’t quite sure, somehow, who best represents their ideas and ethics.
Being autistic, Benjamin has always felt ‘different’ when compared to his peers. While he wishes he could be treated the same as everyone else, he understands his autism makes him come across differently.
In a poem titled “I Am,” Benjamin tries his best to illustrate what his life is like. When his father Sonny read it, he was overcome with emotions. Once you read his poem, it’s easy to see why.

Love letters up for auction reveal the depth of the passionate relationship between Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and David Ormsby-Gore, a close friend of President John F. Kennedy’s whose marriage proposals she rejected.
Ormsby-Gore, the fifth Baron Harlech, served as the British ambassador to the United States during the Cuban Missile Crisis — an appointment that Kennedy personally requested for the friend he first met when his father, Joseph Kennedy, served as the U.S. ambassador to Great Britain from 1938 to 1940.
Several biographies of the Kennedys have discussed Ormsby-Gore’s proposals to Jacqueline Kennedy in the years after the president was assassinated in November 1963. But the newly discovered trove of correspondence gives fresh insight into the “many lives and deaths and hopes and pain” that the two shared, as Jacqueline Kennedy wrote on Nov. 13, 1968 — a month after her marriage to Aristotle Onassis, the billionaire Greek-Argentine shipping tycoon.
