Fox News has had enough of GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s attacks on anchor Megyn Kelly.
After Trump on Friday called Kelly “sick” and “crazy” on Twitter and appealed to supporters to boycott her show, the network went to bat, labelling Trump’s attacks “deplorable,” and “beneath the dignity of a presidential candidate.”
Trump has been feuding with Kelly since the first Republican debate in August, when she questioned his views on women. He seemed to have reached a truce with her during a debate earlier this month, but inexplicably began lambasting her on Twitter again Tuesday night, as he was racking up primary victories.

Audiences at screenings around the world, and some even in the United States, have been cheering and applauding a macabre scene in a new film by Sacha Baron Cohen in which “Donald Trump” accidentally contracts HIV.
“The Brothers Grimsby” opens March 11 in the U.S., though chances are you’re learning that for the first time here, given a decision by Sony Pictures to limit its marketing of the satiric comedy. The studio is concerned about the reaction from the real Donald Trump, according to industry sources familiar with the situation.
At the film’s world premiere in London last week, the Daily Telegraph reported that the Trump moment was met with “loud cheering.” The Metro newspaper called it a “massive cheer.” A viewer at a different screening tweeted, “Went to watch Grimsby and the whole cinema clapped when Donald Trump got given AIDS in it.”

On Monday, 30 black students attending a Donald Trump rally at Valdosta State University in rural Georgia were forcefully ejected — simply for being black.
On Tuesday, in Louisville, Ky., what happened to young black protesters at another Trump rally wasn’t just racist — it appears to be outright criminal.
While we have already widely reported that white supremacists are openly proclaiming that they are fully emboldened and energized by Trump, the natural progression of their romance with Trump is now on full display.

The Trumpening is upon us.
Barring a wholly unforeseen upset, Donald Trump will formally accept the Republican Party’s nomination for president at Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena in July, having vanquished an establishment we were long assured would ultimately prevail over the billionaire populist, once the voting actually started and the rank-and-file came to its senses.
The real estate tycoon’s victory in Nevada’s Republican caucuses on Tuesday underscores why this scenario is exceedingly likely to come to pass.

Donald Trump won New Hampshire with 35 percent of the vote on Tuesday, solidifying his place as the front-runner for the Republican 2016 presidential nomination when the party meets for its national convention in Ohio this summer.
But Cleveland, we have a problem. Hitting 35 percent is terrific, in baseball. In politics, it’a still 16 points shy of a victory, and neither Trump nor any other Republican has shown any signs of doing any better than 40 percent in any individual contest.
If the pattern continues — Trump is polling in the mid-30s in the next two nominating states, Nevada and South Carolina — The Grand Old Party could wind up with Trump as the top choice at its convention without the 1,237 delegates he needs to win the nomination.

The most self-assured candidate in the 2016 race failed to win the Iowa Republican caucus Monday night. But as unexpected a setback a silver medal is for Donald Trump — a man who loves seeing his name emblazoned in gold — he can take solace: his immense imprint on the election promises to be long-lasting.
Trump lost to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), 28 to 24 percent, but his politics have prevailed. Republican caucus-goers elevated the most conservative candidate in the race, in Cruz, and the brashest, in Trump. That portends both a massive headache for the Republican Party, which faces the very real prospect of a fissure in the months ahead, and for voters across the country, who now must soberly envision life under Trump’s nativist policies or a slightly diluted variation of them.
Things were even more muddied on the Democratic side of the aisle, where former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton clung to a marginal lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), with just few votes remaining to be counted. If she ultimately emerges victorious, and based on the critical delegate count it appears she will, it will be something of a Pyrrhic victory. Rather than show herself to be the inevitable nominee on Monday — blessed with a bloodless and quick primary fight — she struggled to handle a man she once led by more than 50 points in the polls.

Bill O’Reilly wants Donald Trump to be the bigger man in his ongoing feud with Fox News, but Trump is promising an “eye for an eye” instead.
The “O’Reilly Factor” host was trying to convince the GOP frontrunner to join Thursday night’s debate in Iowa despite his dislike for Megyn Kelly, the Fox News host who will be one of the event’s moderators.
O’Reilly even tried appealing to Trump’s Christian faith, something the candidate has spoken of frequently in an effort to woo evangelical voters.
“In your Christian faith, there is a very significant tenet and that’s the tenet of forgiveness,” O’Reilly said.

As the election of 2008 approached, America was in crisis. And as we would soon learn, that crisis would not go to waste. Years after Bill Clinton disingenuously claimed that the era of big government was over, Obama won his party’s nomination by promising its furious revenge.
For constitutional conservatives, the Republican contest functioned less like a primary and more like an abandonment. Politically orphaned by their party, conservatives were forced to either stay home or hold their noses and vote for a progressive Republican.
There was a silver lining, however. Rising out of the ashes of that electoral defeat came the Tea Party. The media struggled to explain it away as racist, xenophobic, and jingoistic. But the truth is, the Tea Party did not arise because Barack Obama defeated his opposition. It arose because there was no opposition.

President Barack Obama put the American people on notice Tuesday night that a dark future awaited U.S. democracy if they didn’t begin to come together rather than retreat into ethnic or religious corners.
In describing what one Republican senator called an “apocalyptic future,” Obama laid out a possible path the country could take away from democracy and toward what sounded like an American version of fascism.
“I remember thinking it’s kind of a dreadful prediction for our future,” Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) told HuffPost. “He was very optimistic about America, but then he laid out a very almost apocalyptic future.”

The GOP presidential candidate is shown discussing his plan to temporarily ban Muslims from entering the United States.
Before Trump’s appearance in the nearly 52-minute video, the al Qaeda-linked Islamic extremist cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed in a 2011 U.S. drone strike, is shown lecturing: “Muslims of the West, take heed and learn from the lessons of history. There are ominous clouds gathering in your horizon. Yesterday, America was a land of slavery, segregation, lynching and Ku Klux Klan.
