The pregnant coach of the Seton Hill University women’s lacrosse team was among two people killed Saturday when the bus they were on veered off the highway and crashed into a tree in southern Pennsylvania, authorities said.

Kristina Quigley, 30, who was six months pregnant with a boy, died from injuries at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, according to the Cumberland County Department of Public Safety.

“Her unborn child did not survive,” the county agency said.

The 61-year-old bus driver, Anthony Guaetta, was pronounced dead at the scene.

As reports circulate that rap superstar Lil Wayne, 30, clings to life after a suspected sizzurp binge, the hip-hop musician’s drug of choice is under the glare of the public spotlight as never before. Here now is everything you need to know about the dangerous recreational narcotic.

What is sizzurp?

Sizzurp is an addictive concoction that gets the user high, made by combining prescription-strength cough syrup with sugary sodas like Mountain Dew or Coca-Cola, to which hard candies like Jolly Ranchers are added for more flavor. It’s typically sipped out of Styrofoam cups.

.

The rapper and longtime user has written multiple songs about the concoction, but its narcotic ingredients can be highly addictive and very dangerous.

A bus ride from Atlantic City to New York City has the makings of a horror movie as the passengers reported an invasion of roaches.

A caller tells Eyewitness News that 15 minutes into their journey to New York City on Friday afternoon, roaches started coming out of the vents inside the bus.

They were crawling on seats, up the windows, on the side panels, even onto the passengers, the caller said.

Our assignment editor could hear people in the background screaming and yelling about roaches being in their hair and on their backs.

The people who lack morality, sincerity, humility and all other positive traits, they just value wealth as it’s the only thing they need in life. They never really think about death though they pose to do so. Unfortunately, I come across such people daily. They don’t possess any positive thing. I wonder what they will do with so much wealth, when people around them are sick of their snobbish attitude. I admit that wealth is as necessary as health to lead a peaceful life but it must not erase your morality. Now-a-days wealth is the biggest blow to morality.
I love George Orwell’s saying
“Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely”.
As money gives POWER to people who possess it, they miss no chance to show the world that they have power over others. They tease others in all possible ways. I observe this daily. The only thing I owe to these…

A baby who was “functionally cured” of HIV may have some adult company.

Fourteen adults have also been “functionally cured” after they were given combination antiretroviral therapy (cART) for their HIV infection. They have been able to stop taking the treatment while still keeping their infection under control, according to a new study in the journal PLOS Pathogens.

“Our results show that early and prolonged cART may allow some individuals with a rather unfavorable background to achieve long-term infection control and may have important implications in the search for a functional HIV cure,” the researchers, from the Institut Pasteur in Paris, wrote in the study.

MedPageToday pointed out that while the 14 adults still technically have HIV in their bodies, it’s only barely detectable when using highly sensitive laboratory methods. Therefore, they are considered “functionally cured” instead of being completely rid of the virus.

Here’s a snippet on a magic wrought by positioning:

“
Demographics don’t lie. They are one of the few external trends shaping organizational outcomes around which there is little if any controversy…A critical question facing business models therefore is “What will be the impact of demographic trends on our future success?”

The answer depends upon context. Lima, a small city in the eastern part of Pennsylvania, has a median age of 79. It suffered a 15% decline in population from 2000 to 2010. City officials and local businesses clearly have an issue!

On the other hand, a large city with one of the oldest populations (Scottsdale, Arizona) experienced a 7.2% growth in population over the same period. Here, demographics work to city government and local business advantage, as Scottsdale attracts new residents by positioning itself as a retirement hub.

What’s bad for the goose may not…

In many small to medium software services organizations engaged largely in opportunistic selling, a weak Marketing function, located far away from the scene of action, sees itself producing case-studies and glossies, setting up web sites and corporate presentations, managing customer/prospect visits, and presiding over the periodic ritual of getting some spreadsheet numbers. Not as a strong point of purposeful integration between Sales and Delivery. When the Sales meets with the Delivery, it is usually in a conference room for a day or two to wrangle over those hypothetical spreadsheet numbers right under the nose of the C- suite. Once the meeting is over they go back to: the Sales chasing opportunities in areas Delivery is not into and the Delivery busy developing capabilities Sales doesn’t care for.

When the Marketing does stumble up on a few threads of strategy here and there, the failure is assured either due to a…
