Lunch break . . . for sure here!

November 19, 2013

I want to suggest you a really nice place. Of course Italian cuisine! So today PIADINA – thin Italian flatbread. Typically prepared in the Romagna region, however also in Siena you can find it and enjoy a great taste with your favorite additives. Piadina is made with white flour, lard or olive oil, salt and water.

The place that I will talk about is Piadineria Gian Gusto (http://www.giangusto.it/), and don’t worry – easily you will find it. It is close to Piazza del Campo (Via S.Pietro Ovile – vicinity p.zza S. Francesco) on the way to Basilica of San Francesco. This is small but very cosy place that has polite and friendly staff. Your Piadina you can eat there and at the same time follow television or reading newspapers. However you can take your lunch away. Price . . . about 4-5 EUR.

The taste is really good…

A 25-year-old model with a 42-inch bottom has been crowned Brazil’s new Miss Bum Bum.
Dai Macedo, who represented the central state of Goias in the nationwide search for the woman with the most bodacious butt in all of Brazil, was chosen from among 15 finalists by the contest’s grand jury in Sao Paolo this week.
“It’s a lot of work, a lot of devotion,” Macedo told Agence France-Presse by way of an interpreter. “I denied myself a lot of things. No nightclubs. No sweets. I went to the gym Saturdays and Sundays.”
The sacrifice is well worth it. Miss Bum Bum winners become instant celebrities in Brazil, and receive a fortune in endorsements.

Scientists have discovered the most distant and ancient galaxy ever spotted.
By using data collected by the Hubble Space Telescope and observations from the Keck I telescope at the Keck Observatory in Hawaii, astronomers have now confirmed that the galaxy designated z8_GND_5296 formed within 700 million years after the beginning of the universe, making it the oldest and most distant galaxy ever verified.
Because the galaxy is so far from Earth, scientists were able to observe z8_GND_5296 as it would have appeared about 13.1 billion years ago.
“The most exciting aspect in general of what I do is the fact that we can learn about what things were like in the very early universe,” Steven Finkelstein, the lead author of the new galaxy study in Nature and an astronomer at the University of Texas, Austin, said. “Because the speed of light is constant, light…
