A company in China has used giant 3D printers to make 10 full-sized, detached single-storey houses in a day, it appears.
A private firm, WinSun, used four 10m x 6.6m printers to spray a mixture of cement and construction waste to build the walls, layer by layer, official Xinhua news agency reported.
The cheap materials used during the printing process and the lack of manual labour means that each house can be printed for under $5,000, the 3dprinterplans website says.

This is the kind of off beat movie you don’t expect too much out of. Surprise, it was great.
A paparazzi named Les played by the great Steve Buscemi, along with the rest of the paparazzi will do anything for a money shot. A very handsome, homeless, wanna be actor named Toby, played by Michael Pitt, ends up working for Les in exchange for a spot on his couch to sleep. They fast become good friends. While trying to get a money shot of the ever popular K’Harma Leeds, played by Alison Lohman, Toby and K connect. Toby must now decide where his loyalities lie. As Toby and K start hanging out, they grow closer and closer. K drops any other boyfriends and focuses solely on Toby. As Toby gets discovered, he becomes sort after but always in love with K. It’s interesting to see how this movie unfolds. I…
Last Vegas is a pretty good movie. Michael Douglas (Billy), Morgan Freeman (Archie), Robert Di Nero (Paddy) and Kevin Kline (Sam) are best friends from childhood.
Now senior citizens, they get together to attend a wedding in Las Vegas. Michael Douglas is the one who is getting married to someone half his age and is not in good favor with one of the members of this elite party. It seems they butted heads because Di Nero’s wife died and Michael didn’t attend the funeral. To complicate matters more, they met a singer in Las Vegas, Diana (Mary Steenburgen) and both fall for her. Eventually they suck it up and the journey continues. Last Vegas is a lesson in friendship, trust and doing the right thing. An enjoyable movie with a wholesome message. Now that it’s out on DVD, I think it’s worth checking into. It’s a funny and relaxing at best. There are some very…
You can do anything with a little imagination. Already well established fairy tales and other children’s stories are embellished to make this, not so childish series, appealing to old and young alike.
Since the beginning of Once Upon a Time, Snow White, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Rumpelstiltskin, Pinocchio, Jimmy the Cricket, Jack and the Bean Stalk, Little Red Riding Hood, Robin Hood and his Merry Band of Men, The wizard of Oz, Hansel and Gretel and many more were all explored before taking on a life of its own. Recurring characters like Snow White/Mary Margaret (
I’m giving Rake a rating of 8 because it so entertaining, I can’t give it any less. It’s wild, crazy and totally unrealistic.
It’s almost bordering on being a fantasy. Keegan Deane played by Greg Kinnar, is a lawyer with a gambling and sex problem. He really belongs nowhere. He’s estranged from his wife and son but remain friends. He had a tiny practice, but lost it all to gambling debts that he still hasn’t paid. He has more than his share of true friends and a very loyal assistant named Leanne Zander played by British actress,
I didn’t except this new series called Sleepy Hollow to be about how the legend came to be or what it takes in these modern times to deal with such things as headless horsemen, demons, the Masons, Ichabod Crane and two beautiful young African American sisters who are all so pulled into the legend they don’t live for anything else.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. struck me as somewhat amateurish. The stories are good, the acting is good so what else could be the problem?
I’ve finally figured out what’s wrong. It’s the direction and the music. Transitions between scenes sometimes seem slow and totally unconvincing, like an after thought. The music also sounds corny, like it belongs in a children’s cartoon with toy guns. It’s almost reminds me of children’s play acting. The wrong music can really spoil a production. This is truly difficult to verbalize. I watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. regulary because it’s a good series that needs better direction. If how to rid the show of it’s hesitant transitions and overall corniness, plus use better music, it would be an instant hit. The S.H.I.E.L.D. team is dedicated to finding and helping individuals with extraordinary powers while protecting the world from the super powers of those gone bad. The main team consist of 2…
