An Australian chef killed his Indonesian girlfriend in their apartment and cooked several parts of her dismembered body on the kitchen stove, police say.
Marcus Volke, 28, was caught by police boiling several parts of Mayang Prasetyo’s body in chemicals, according to Brisbane Times. Volke fled and then reportedly used a knife to kill himself in an industrial bin near his Brisbane apartment.
The gruesome scene unfolded on Saturday night when police responded to complaints about “rotting meat” smell from Volke’s neighbors in the complex. There they found Volke — who immediately ran away– and Prasetyo’s other bodily remains in garbage bags.

This is going to be a tough one to critique. I absolutely hated the ending. It rendered the entire movie irrelevant. The ending made everything unbelievable. Many of us in the theater shouted “this ending sucks” all at once. What a good movie with excellent acting all the way through, until the credits started rolling across the screen. Ben Affleck’s character is married to Rosamund Pike’s character. She turns up missing and presumed murdered. Of course the husband (Affleck) is accused as circumstantial evidence piles up against him. I couldn’t wait for the end to see if I had successfully guessed what would happen. If Gone Girl had an ending, I would have been happy no matter what happened. I successfully figured out much of the outcome during the film, as it had many twist and turns.
