Drones may still have some legal hurdles to fly over before they truly arrive, but as a consumer technology, they’ve shown remarkable progress. We’ve gone form bulky, difficult-to-control monstrosities to tiny Millennium Falcon replicas in the span of a few short years.
Now, with a little help from Qualcomm, they’re about to get even better. The chipmaker –- whose Snapdragon mobile processors power many of the world’s top smartphones –- has unveiled a new class of chip crafted specifically for drones, aptly called Snapdragon Flight.
For many drones, its control system can be a hodgepodge of off-the-shelf parts: a CPU for navigation, an image processor for whatever camera is onboard, and more silicon for things like GPS and wireless connectivity. But having multiple components do different things can tax power efficiency, not to mention make the drone physically larger (and thus harder to fly).

What a crazy mess of a movie, but a likable mess. Jesse Eisenberg plays Mike Howell, a stoner who is really a CIA Operative who was part of an experiment put on the back burner because there were too many problems to move forward. He settles down to a nice cushy life of pot, music, a sexy girlfriend Phoebe Larson (Kriston Stewart) and one huge problem. He can’t seem to leave the small town of Liman, West VA, where he lives, without having an anxiety attack. He appears to be a wasted pothead with no future and no ambition. Mike’s journey really begins when a women named Victoria Lasseter (Connie Britton) enters into the convenient store where…

I haven’t been this excited about a movie since 2015 began. I’ve seen thousands of movies but never one like this. No Escape is a thriller like none other. Owen Wilson who usually plays a comedic role, gave the character of Jack Dwyer a decent portrayal as a husband to Annie Dwyer (Lake Bell) and father of two little girls, Lucy and Breeze Dwyer. The movie opens with the Dwyer family flying from Texas to Southwest Asia where Jack is starting a new position heading up his water manufacturing company as an engineer. From the moment they arrive, nothing is working. No internet, no TV, no telephone service, no messages from the company and noticeable traffic missing in the streets among other things. While at the airport, the family befriended a man they met on the plane, Hammond (
