The Luxe Lookbook
Expanding upon the childhood board game themed collection of Peter Pilotto’s F/W 2015 RTW collection, Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos collaborated on researching the deeper history of board games.

This led them to ancient Greece, where they combined the aesthetic of an ancient Greek board game with that off the gladiator, Aegean style. Whimsical and gorgeous.

Paul Salopek is two years into a 21,000-mile walk that will take him from Ethiopia to South America’s Tierra del Fuego archipelago, retracing the path of human migration out of Africa. Even the most intrepid travellers would classify his walk as an extraordinary achievement – but Salopek believes that humans are hardwired to walk long distances. After all, our ancient ancestors were hunter-gatherers who walked some 2,500 miles per year.
Inspired by this belief that humans are not meant to be sedentary, the nomadic 52-year-old National Geographic Fellow and veteran foreign correspondent decided that rather than fly, he would travel on foot from one story to the next, writing many of them for his Out of Eden Project Dispatches. And he maintains that his walk isn’t a radical departure; it’s an extension of his peripatetic life. He’s been on the move since he was six, when his father quit his US government job and moved the family to a small town in Central Mexico.

Web design is (finally!) dying of irrelevance. Web pages themselves are no longer the center of the Internet experience, which is why designers need to move on to the next challenges — products and ecosystems — if they want to stay relevant.
Web design has no future — a risky statement I know, but this article explains why it has no future and what we, as designers, can do about it. As a discipline, web design has already exhausted its possibilities, an emerging combination of tech and cultural trends highlight the need for a broader approach.
Let’s start with the symptoms of this imminent death.

So today was Monday and at first it started out feeling exactly like a Monday… I didn’t want to get out of bed… it was 4th of July weekend, who wanted to get up after a long weekend vacation?!

I had to have my coffee and I just got the cutest cup from surpassingly Michaels’ right when I checked out last week. What better way to start Monday than with a cup of coffee in a mug that says, “Coffee Makes Me a Better person?”
So then I decided to use my iPad that I always have with me to reply to all of your guys, which thanks so much for all the write-ins, my Monday was brighter because of all you guys! 🙂
I caught up on my People Style fashion and decided I need to join the Taylor Swift matching top and skirt trend!! I’m on the hunt…

Why people make a distinction? I don’t understand . Ok. I know. Rich people always rich. Poor people always poor. Consequently we are all human beings.I hate this comparison. So people are forced to communicate with each other. Perhaps this comparison is affecting people’s lives worse. For instance, You want to live different country. You have a decided. You think you know a lot about that country.Maybe you don’t know. But you want to go. You want to live in that country. You’re doing everything in your power to live there. I told you different country, different culture…
Maybe one day You will think You’re going to give up. But don’t give up. You can do it. How do you know? 🙂
For instance, I want to live in England. I’m not British. But I want to live. Different culture, different habits, different living conditions,Different country, city, place, etc…. It doesn’t matter for me. Just You want and believe yourself…

Around one-third of the Great Wall of China has been destroyed by vandalism and exposure to the elements, according to Chinese state-run media.
While human behavior — like the use of the wall’s stones for home-building or sale on the — has contributed to the deterioration, overgrown plants also have endangered the structure, Xinhua reported. As a result, whole sections of the UNESCO World Heritage site have large gaping holes and are crumbling — particularly in rural areas east of Beijing, it added in a report over the weekend.
“The destruction of the Great Wall has natural and human causes,” Dong Yaohui, vice chairman of the nonprofit Great Wall Society, told NBC News on Tuesday, calling for the creation of a systematic conservation plan. “The urgent task is to protect what is left.”

At 3.79 million square miles (9.83 million km2) and approximately 315 million people, the United States is the third largest country by land area and population. With fifty states (48 contiguous) and a special district, the United States is an extremely diverse country in both geography and climate.
Below we celebrate the beautiful natural landscapes of this diverse country. One photograph for every state. These are by no means, intended to be wholly ‘representative’ of each state, just a simple list to appreciate the natural beauty of one of the largest countries in the world 😎
