Our sky is a piece of wonder.. The clouds teach us how to mingle with others.. Regardless of the forms and shapes, they float together in unison… The sun teaches us to believe in our own strength,.. It sets every night to rise up again in the day.., the moon teaches true beauty is not merely in looks but the way we offer light in the darkest times.. and the stars.. they signal that no matter how tough the times, when the time is ripe, you will shine 🙂

Hi Remoters,

The iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C have been announced. So what does that mean for the iPhone 6?

Well, i’ll tell you. Or, at least, we’ll tell you what we can glean from rumor and speculation – some reliable, some not so much.

Given the iPhone’s history – from the 3G onwards, there’s always been a half-step S model before the next numbered iPhone – so it was no surprise the 5S was first and so we’re looking at 2014 for a new iPhone 6.

One thing is for sure, with potential refreshes of such super handsets as the Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z and HTC One, the next iPhone will have to seriously up its game.

The other alternative is to increase tax revenue.  Republican rhetoric to the contrary, cutting taxes has never, since Reagan first tried it, raised revenue.  It has always led to higher deficits, particularly in the Bush 2 presidency.  When Bush 1 and Clinton raised taxes, the deficit was reduced.  Reducing federal expenditures puts a damper on the economy, throwing people out of work and reducing consumption.  The cutbacks in federal, state and local government budgets since 2009 has largely offset the new hiring in the private sector, keeping unemployment high.  That further decreases tax revenues and increases the deficit.   That’s why austerity budgets in Greece and Spain have been so destructive, but Greece in particular got where it was because it doesn’t collect enough taxes.  Tax evasion there is rife.  As economic Nobel Laureate Paul Krugman has often pointed out, the federal…

Its a full length feature from PBS NOVA.

Einstein’s Big Idea

Commercial free! YAY
Program Description
Over 100 years ago, Albert Einstein grappled with the implications of his revolutionary special theory of relativity and came to a startling conclusion: mass and energy are one, related by the formula E = mc². In “Einstein’s Big Idea,” NOVA dramatizes the remarkable story behind this equation. E = mc² was just one of several extraordinary breakthroughs that Einstein made in 1905, including the completion of his special theory of relativity, his identification of proof that atoms exist, and his explanation of the nature of light, which would win him the Nobel Prize in Physics. Among Einstein’s ideas, E = mc² is by far the most famous. Yet how many people know what it really means? In a…

Moroccans remain as one of the friendliest and most hospitable people in the world.  While primarily it is dominated by Muslim Arabs and typically regarded as an Arab nation, Morocco is best described as a nation of both Arabs and its indigenous inhabitants, the Berbers.  The Berbers which means “those who are not Arab” have generally settled in the countryside and mountains.  However, in the past few decades, more Berbers moved into urban areas mixing peacefully among the Arab and small Jewish population.  Due to the many influxes of populations in Morocco, the country has experienced many cultural influences mostly from Europe, Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Classical Arabic is the country’s official language while Berber are generally used as a first language mostly in rural areas.  French, is Morocco’s unofficial third language widely used in education, commerce and government.  Spanish is being spoken by majority of Moroccans in the…
