I didn’t think this series would last. The lights went out along with all power.
In other words, the world went back to fire and labor intensive task like walking. Just image what this ever advancing technical universe would be like without the discoveries of the last 100 years. In some ways, we would be better off and in most other ways, we would be screwed.
I was curious about the direction of Revolution. What in the world would cause such a catastrophe? As the series progresses, more and more is explained but still no real explanation as to the how. On the way to the knowledge we all have been waiting for, many beloved cast member have perished and many situations that make for exciting viewing are revealed. Every time I sit down to watch this HBO series, I brace myself for the introduction theme which I think is totally evil. I tell myself once I get past the start up, things will get better.
I really enjoy True Blood even though I don’t like the lead in. I think I like the series because of some of the hot characters and because it’s written so you’ll have some compassion for their situation due to no fault of their own.

The trailers on Divergent were a little fuzzy, as I didn’t really get what the movie was all about. Now that I’ve seen it, I have to do a little comparison to The Hunger Games.
Like the Hunger Games, the world was categorized into sections. In Divergent, there is 1 choice from the existing 5 categories one can choose to spend their life perusing. There’s no going back once the choice is made. Like Hunger Games, the government totally rules every aspect of your life.
