Child Abuse
April 19, 2014
With parenting like that as a role model, the children grow up to be loud, violent creatures that only behave when they feel as if they are in a situation that calls for it. This is referred to as “behavioral issues” and is of course not considered to be due to the parents’ behavior at all. Often the neighborhood is blamed: “Johnny would be a good boy and wouldn’t have started using crack cocaine at age twelve if we had lived in a better neighborhood.” is a common excuse, usually given when the child has turned sixteen or seventeen and is facing criminal charges for murdering their own child “accidentally.”… Do not jeopardize your children by leaving them in the care of these people. British nannies are not Mary Poppins.

DRAFT DAY (2014) – My rating: 8.5/10
April 18, 2014
I am not a fan of football. In fact, I think if should be outlawed along with boxing because of the debilitating injuries incurred by the players.
There’s a lot of documentation on the whole brain vs helmet study. It is truly a serious problem within the sport. Having said that, Draft Day made me want to go home and tune into a live football game. Kevin Costner plays
general manager Sonny Weaver
for the Cleveland Browns. Through the first half of the movie, we were clueless just like Sonny Weaver. His thoughts were controversial on every level of draft choices. You really didn’t have any idea of what was going to happen or how the process worked. However by the end of the movie, I could hardly stay in my seat. The thrill and excitement of manipulating other organizations plus how deals were made was more than I could stand. The outcome was totally unpredictable. I loved it! Just…

GRIMM – My rating: 8.5/10
April 18, 2014
Every week the Grimm (Nick Burkhardt), played by
David Giuntoli
and his partner (Hank Griffin) played by Russell Hornsby, go out on police cases involving
Wesen
and other strange looking demon like creatures. Because these perfectly normal looking people can change back and forth from human to creature, no one knows that they are not completely human. They can be seen in their unhuman form if they choose to be seen that way. If they don’t, only the Grimm can see what they really look like. The Grimm is not one of the creatures. Legend says the Grimm only hunts and kills these creatures. This series is quite complicated as the Grimm has many of these creatures as friends, including a very close

Saudi Arabia on Sunday confirmed a surge of cases of a deadly virus in the kingdom over the past two weeks, even as it tried to counter criticism that it wasn’t doing enough to contain the outbreak.
The United Arab Emirates over the weekend separately announced six confirmed cases of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, or MERS, among paramedics there, one of whom died of the illness. The high number of cases among medical workers raised questions about how effective Arab Gulf governments have been in controlling the 1½-year-old outbreak.
