Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is a comedy, fantasy heist film directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Gilio from a story by Chris McKay and Gilio. It is based on the tabletop role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons and is set in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting which has no connections to the film trilogy released between 2000 and 2012. I heard a lot about the game Dungeons & Dragons but never played it. When Honor Among Thieves was made into a movie, I was anxious to see it. In my opinion, Dungeons & Dragons is one of the best fantasy films I’ve seen lately. Kudos to the writing team and director for a job well done.
