So let’s recap how I did with sticking to last week’s plan….

Monday – Rest – Done! (Lol)
Tuesday – Run track 4 miles – Yoga – No running but yoga DONE
Wednesday – Yoga – Lift – DONE!
Thursday – Run easy 3 miles – No running, but did yoga
Friday – Run easy 3 miles – Lift – Nothing here, took the night off!
Saturday – Yoga – Instead I ran, only a little over a mile but my first run in a while.
Sunday – Run 5 miles (probably on a trail if the weather stays dry) – Didn’t make it 5, of course!!, but made it 3

AND here is THIS week’s plan!! This week my plan is pretty much created by Coach so the time for lounging about is over…

So… if you don’t know yet, Temple Run 2 came out about a fortnight ago.
Let’s just say I found out on Facebook, and downloaded the app straight away.

Now, let’s make this clear – I don’t like Disney covers of games (with the exception of Where’s my Water?), so I decided not to work on a calculator for Temple Run: Brave. But when I saw Temple Run 2, I kind of dribbled a little (not really, I was too excited, actually had a dry mouth).

I started working on a score calculator on Monday, and I finished it on Friday. Not full time work, mind you – it took about 18 hours all up. With about 16 of those stuck on the same damn problem, but more on that later.

To follow up on the last post about Israel – Mr Netanyahu, as expected, won the election – but not entirely as expected – as he came out more weakened and reliant on other parties than ever before.

After a long night in Hong Kong, I finally boarded the plane to head home 😦

Once again, I have to give it to Cathay Pacific for feeding me well on these long flights 🙂

These pics are from somewhere over Taiwan. It’s amazing how the Earth looks from 30k feet…

That bacon (yes, that’s bacon) was the weakest bacon of all time.

Flying into yesterday…

Somewhere over Montana. It looks boring from the sky, but I bet they can see the stars real well at night lol

Whenever I’m flying and I see another plane flying parallel to the plane I’m in I always wonder if there’s someone on the other plane staring at my plane and wondering about the plane flying parallel to them lol

Hong Kong to Chicago… this is what 16 hours on a plane looks like on a map.

This is the bittersweet end to…

Love isn’t simple. The ancient Greeks understood this so well that they had three different words to express it:

1)  Agape –  Perfect, unconditional love – Often characterized as the love of God. Most of us mere mortals have to work hard at achieving this.

Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. –  Leviticus 19:18, KJV

Lord, grant that I might not so much seek to be loved as to love.   –  St. Francis of Assisi

It’s wonderful how love of one sort or another tracks throughout our lives.

Most of us first feel it from our parents and caregivers when we’re babies and children. This is selfless and embracing love. This is where we first learn the importance of trust and forgiveness. Sometimes these relationships follow and sustain us for many years.

2)   Philos – Brotherly love – the kind we feel for our friends and family…

Are you interested in the sacredness of the cosmos, extraterrestrial life, sacred geometry, different dimensions, astral projection, NDE’s, consciousness awakening, truth, and amazing ancient teachings and mysteries? So are we, but what do you want to do about it. Do you just want to keep reading, and, in that way, believe you know about them? Do you realize science doesn’t know what consciousness is and has no way to study it? Do you know that an atheist cannot prove divinity doesn’t exist, and that atheism is just a belief? What kind of knowing are you after? Don’t you see there’s a huge difference between reading about out-of-body experiences, or watching videos about them, and lifting out of your body and traveling through space in a different dimension? Why not experience a greater reality rather than just reading…

Most Americans know of Oskar Schindler, the German businessman who saved more than 1,200 lives during the Holocaust by hiring Jews to work in his factories and fought Nazi efforts to remove them.

But fewer know about Chiune Sugihara, the Japanese diplomat who disobeyed his government’s orders and issued visas that allowed 6,000 Jews to escape from Nazi-occupied territories via Japan.

I love the limitation of something lifelong like dietary choices to some arbitrary period less than a month.  How amazing that we still fall for it over and over.  Just like the term “$19.95 + shipping and handling,” dieting for four, seven, twelve and seventeen days all just sound good.

Kim Lyons is on Dr. Oz and she says this plan will help you trim fat for good.  Really?

To begin, we should decide if her plan has any chance of working.  It does.  She combines a liver slowing drink with a no carbohydrate diet, which has been shown to drop weight quickly.

Let’s break it down:

First, we have a drink with grapefruit juice to be drunk before eating.  Ok, that may make you feel fuller, because grapefruit slows your liver’s ability to process.

Second, you get no carbohydrates except for vegetable carbs for ten days.  Vegetable carbs…
