
Creed II is a drama directed by Steven Caple Jr. and written by Juel Taylor and Sylvester Stallone, from a story by Sascha Penn and Cheo Hodari Coker. A sequel to Creed (2015) and the eighth installment in the Rocky film series. Creed II was definitely a film I wanted to skip, I am so glad I didn’t, as the movie was quite entertaining, despite the same old plot and a predictable outcome.
Creed II follows a fight over 33 years in the making, as the current heavy weight champion meets a new adversary in the ring. Actually I thought Creed ll plot was different, maybe a little obvious. It made sense for the character to feel rage towards the person that killed his father, and since his father was too old to fight he went for the next best thing. It wouldn’t have been so bad if Drago son didn’t have that NO ONE CAN BEAT ME additude. I loved it, I think the writer’s did very well on this one.

I haven’t viewed ‘Creed II’ yet, but it is definitely on my list of movies to see. I liked the Rocky series and I rely on Carol’s down to earth reviews. If she recommends a movie, that is good enough for me. Apparently, you enjoyed also.
