She roamed the streets of Bulgaria, her body emaciated. All her fur had fallen off to reveal cracked, dead skin.
A desperate plea made on Facebook to the Rudozem Street Dog Rescue (RSDR) was what ultimately saved her life.
“There was a link to a local news article which was calling for her to be caught and destroyed in case she was diseased,” Diane Rowles, one of the founders of RSDR, said in a blog post. In the photos provided, the rescue saw just how mistreated and neglected she was.
