Famed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson took aim at “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and blasted some of the movie’s science on Twitter.
Tyson, who hosts “StarTalk” on the National Geographic Channel and serves as director of the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History, has already expressed his preference for the USS Enterprise from “Star Trek” over the Millennium Falcon.
On Monday, after “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” destroyed box office records, he used the force of scientific knowledge to break down some of the movies questionable decisions. (Minor spoilers ahead).
While he gave BB-8, the tiny rolling droid, credit for being “waaaaay cuter than R2D2,” he had some issues with the way it moved.
