I remember it was not long ago when my parents and I used to quarrel about how my childhood freedom was being taken away from me. I used to constantly fight with mom about how I should be treated like an adult and used to say, “I’m seventeen now, I’m not a child any more so stop treating me like one, and telling me what to do, I’m old enough to make those decisions myself.” But was I really old enough? Was I really not a child anymore at seventeen? Well these are the questions I often asked myself but never really found a definite answer.
