Imagine looking through a telescope while hanging out the window of a helicopter or an off-road vehicle. Sure, the telescope will let you see for miles, but there’d be nothing stopping you from bouncing around in the cabin, unable to focus on a single far-off object.

Now imagine using that shaky telescope while trying to save someone’s life, maybe even your own. Worse yet, it’s nighttime and raining.

For critical missions, where every second counts, law enforcement agencies and military personnel rely on a more sophisticated “set of eyes” — one that can see through the dark, magnify the world and keep steady in extreme conditions. Namely, Lockheed Martin’s Gyrocam system.
