Just in time for World Oceans Day, an underwater luxury hotel called Planet Ocean Underwater Hotel is now featuring a single underwater guestroom. The hotel, which is still in its planning and fundraising stage, plans to give the proceeds that they raise to a coral reef restoration funding project.
Planet Ocean Underwater Hotel is based near Key West, Florida and features a pod-style room, which is accessed via an underwater elevator. It includes a “King Neptune” bed, a bathroom with a shower, an Italian leather love seat, an HDTV, air conditioning, adjustable LED lighting, underwater Wi-Fi and room service.
