Let’s Be Cops is another silly comedy that I found to be a step up from slap stick. 2 guys who are best friends, have no life. One Justin (Damon Wayans, Jr.) is a video game designer who creates software for gamers. The other Ryan (Jake Johnson) is unemployed with no purpose or idea as to what he wants to do with himself. Justin is being bullied and disrespected on his job while Ryan is oblivious to everything around him. One day Ryan was invited to his college reunion party, which he misinterpreted as a masquerade party rather than a costume ball. After much debate, they went as cops, using the uniforms Justin used earlier to pitch a new game about police.
