These two mountains compare the old covenant God with the new covenant God. The Old Testament God with the New Testament God. The sacrifice to God with the sacrificed by God. The smiter and the friend.

And as I was reading the words and commentary an odd thing occurred. So odd I was in danger of comment-bombing Don’s piece to death.

So here I am. Hotfoot to the iMonastery. Unwrapping my parcel of thoughts.  Laying out my small collection of thoughts on the earthen floor. Offering them in the spirit they were given to me. Unannounced and unattached. Like so much my lord offers. A gift for me to examine. To share. To discuss.
