The Maze Runner is based on a 2009 best selling Science Fiction book by James Dashner . The movie directed by Wes Ball, is well done. The Maze Runner seems like it’s going to be the same old story but it truly different. It also seems to be a combination of Hunger Games, Divergent and The Giver, where someone is controlling and manipulating the youth. As a result, lives are paying for that manipulation. Thomas played by Dylan O’Brian, wakes up inside a rusty elevator called “The Box”, which is centered in a semi quasi hostile environment. Thomas has no memory of his name or where he came from, he only knows that he is deposited in an outdoor arena/forest surrounded by a maze. There are many other boys who made the trip long before Thomas. They must all rely on one another to survive their circumstances and find a way to escape. Food and…
