
Brooklyn’s Community Board 3 elected five new officers on Monday, including a board chair to officially replace now-District Manager Henry Butler.The board, which serves most of Bedford-Stuyvesant, elected treasurer and interim chair Tremaine Wright to replace Butler, who in August stepped down as chair to accept a paid position as the board’s district manager.
Wright, who has served 10 years on the board and also owns Common Grounds Cafe at 376 Tompkins Ave., said she was excited for the opportunity to take the board into the future.
