My friends and I decided to go hiking at Pole Steeple. What did I get? Fun quality time with friends, beautiful scenery, fresh air, peace of mind, and, of course, burned calories!

The Pole Steeple Trail, located within Pine Grove Furnace State Park and west of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, is where we hiked. It is the main trail to reach the summit. In addition, compared to the other trail that heads around the cliffs to the south side, the Pole Steeple Trail is shorter. It only took us about 3 hours to finish the whole trail. For some, it may be quite tiring because the trail is steep but I guarantee you that the climb is all worth-it. At the top, there is a spectacular quartite rock waiting for you. Not only that, you could also see the entire park in its summit.
